Yes, the boys got to invite guests to the wedding, too!

 

Thanks everyone! The boys' cake had iridescent sparklies all over it! The pookster definitely approved! And the topper was done by an old old friend, a wonderful glass-spinner we've known longer than we've known each other! Hadn't seen him in ages (he lives in Kentucky and had stopped selling at conventions) and we were looking at other glass toppers, suddenly stopped, thot about Steve, wondered if he was still producing, found him online and the sweetheart made us this OOAK and had it to us in under a week. We're soooo lucky!

That beautiful fabric in the runner was something I've had forever. The color was perfect. Instead of tassels on the end, I used dragonfly ornaments in several different colors.

 

I finally got the tux off Wiishu when we went to MisCon last weekend. He takes his con costuming very seriously and especially his pint-sized Doctor appearance, but Pook refused to take his off.

We were very happy with the cake's appearance, but the taste...OMG. Spice with cream cheese filler and dark chocolate with raspberry. The boys' cake is coconut with fudge filler. Best tasting wedding cake I've ever had. From Marsell's in Spokane, if anyone viewing is in the area. I'm certainly going back for any occasion cake!
