BoyAndGirl dolls (B&G) 1/6 Honey discussion part 1

Denver Doll Emporium just got them up on their site but it doesn't look like they have any in stock yet. So you could preorder one, do a layaway, etc. You could also call or email them and ask if they plan on having any in stock some time soon.

 

I'd love to know if they fit YoSD clothes.

Loretta is about 26-27 cm in lenght.. I'm not sure about the rest.. as its not said on the official or the Pinkhazard/Fashion doll dealer site. :{

Getting her Monday! then off again for a face-up by a friend of mine!

The plan is, she turning into Psyche from the Greek mythology. And has everything to do with Pandora's box, long story.

Has anyone been able to find measurements for these little cuties?
I've ordered Celia, and want to start looking for clothes/wigs/etc. but all I've been able to find is how tall she is and what size eyes she takes....

I managed to find the measurements...they were only posted on the Chinese site for some reason, so I had to translate them....

Height: 26cm
Chest: 13.3cm
Waist: 12.5cm
Head: 17cm
Leg: 13cm
Reach(arm length?): 7.5cm
Neck: 6.3cm
Foot: 3.5cm
Shoulder: 5.3cm

 

Mine fits Volks- Yo-SD, Miniwoo.. and wont fit Dollzone.

There a bit larger then normal Tiny's (She's 2 cm bigger than a littlefé)
There feet are a bit bigger, mine wont fit Dollzone shoes But will fit Minowoo (although there a tad big!)
I dont know about clothing, cause I had mine made by hand.

Woo i am joining here because i am getting a B&G Eli as soon as i can xDD

I have a friend and i am having Kaze (his name) shipped to her first then to me, because i am alao getting a heap load of stuff with him xDD

And here is a few questions because he will be my first yo-sized doll
1) What eye size would look best on them? it says on the website that he will come with 16mm acrylics but i want to know how he looks in them, because if he looks good in 16mm then it will save me buying more eyes xDD (my SD and MSD both wears 16mm)
2) About how long would they be dispatched from the company?
3) Wig size, apparently he's the same size (17cm/6.5") with the DoC i just ordered, so does that mean that they can share wigs with each other?

1 I donno, mine wears the eyes I got with her (They were brown (L)!! ) I should have no idea!
2 I got my Loretta within 2-3 weeks!! ;D B&G is mighty fast!
3. I have bought a Monique wig in her size, wich takes some time to put on but it perfect size. I think mine wears normal YO-ds zised with a stretch band.

2. Where do you buy his things (wig, eyes, shoes, clothes, etc)?

The new 1/6 doll!!

 

I have him since a week so I haven't got much into that, and I have no other 1/6 to compare Eyes are 14mm (12mm if you prefer a little smaller) and wig is around 5 - 6''

I think he should be able to wear other 1/6 sized clothing without problems, though he got quite some hips, so the trousers might be a tight fit depending on the brand.

I will see if I can get his measurements down today or tomorrow

Besides he poses awesomely! He stood on one leg right out of the box

 

I just noticed, how come the hands on the girl body is different from the boy's? Too bad...I think the girl hands look a lot better...

I can tell you for the wig. It's a rosenlied 6-7 inch.
She wears 26 cm tall outfit...and the same for the shoes. The eyes are 14 mm.

B&G Loretta with 2 littlefee's. (Anyone asking there molds will be given.. have to search it up)



Cán tell you, Psyche is biiiger then the littlfee's.. about 1 cm.

1. My loretta is 26 CM!
2. Ordinary Yo-sd stuff will fit.. haven't fitted much.. mine didn't fit anything Dollzone(!!!), wigs with elastic band will be fine (just have to struggle), Leekeworld wigs fit good too.
3. Yes, think so.. depends on the height of him/her.

 

sooooo all of you that own B&G 26cm tinies....do you like them? how do they compare with other tinies, like Leekeworld or some other company XD i only own leekeworld so i cant say much about others.

im interested in getting one for a gift but havent taken the plunge yet.

I think posing is fíne! Compared to there MSD's (I have Hera)
Standing is a bit more difficult cause there feet are so tiny

As far as posing goes, my girl has been able to hold most of the poses I've put her in. Here's the silliest thing I've done...She's standing on one foot, with just the toe of the other foot barely touching the ground...Also, she can keep her arms up in the air really easily..my other dolls can barely do it at all heh

I've been meaning to take more pictures, but I've been pretty busy with Christmas stuff...

No they have single joints, though as others already mentioned pose just wonderfully. My Eli could stand on one leg without support and arms raised right out of the box

 

i dun know where to ask this, but i hope this the right place...

is there anyone else who owns a B&G loretta cat? i just opened her stock clothes up and the bows that are supposed to be able to put on her head, like the company photos suggested, they actually dun have anything that allows them to stay on her head.....it is just made of cloth and that is it

am i supposed to put the extra cloth that is sticking out between her cat ears so it stays on?? this is really weird...... =x hope somebody owns one too~~~

I got a B&G Eli on a girls body over the weekend....I only had her Saturday as she was a present for my mom and was taken off to her new home already, but I got a couple quick shots of her before she was off...







Pardon the craptastic photos, and the blank head. I gave her a faceup after this but my mom had to leave right after it was done so I had no time for real photos.

I love this doll, she's adorable and the body is fantastic (especially for the price). It's really sturdy, pose-able and just nice to look at. If they make an elf-eared girl, I'm totally getting one.

And if anyone knows this and could answer my one question, are Celia and Eli the same head? Every time I look at them I have a different opinion...they seem to have the same eyes, but sometimes Celia looks like she's smiling and Eli is a little pouty-face. I just can't tell

My Melissa has boy body,but she is a girl.Her face is a little mature and eye is smaller than Celia.
Because of the make up she has smile.


But Melissa's neck hole is different from Celia's.


So Melissa's neck is longer than Celia's

Hello all! I just discovered these cuties, and I'm in awe! They are so adorable! I'm thinking on Elli boy.
Could anybody tell me if 1/6 boy body is taller than a girl body? If the girl is 26 cm I assume the boy is about 28 cm, right?

Amber-kyou, I think Eli could make such a wonderful cupid, a very soft and sweet. Otherwise, Lister would make a naughty and arrogant type cupid. It depends on what result you want to achieve.

She got some new eyes recently, and some new eyelashes.. I think the green looks really good on her, had to do it earlier!

One thing on the downside, she is younger than my Hera, but twice as yellow! Not happy about the resin at all!!

I didn't remember liking the B&G tinies, but looking at them again, they're adorable! I like Lister, Loretta, Damian, and Sophie.

In my boredom window shopping, I'm looking for a playdate for my planned Spiritdoll Mint because I like my dolls to have someone the same size. Dunno which one I'd want and will most likely change my mind five times between now and getting one.

Well i have to boys i bought from B&G some time ago, and i am having trouble finding pants for them, so i was wondering what other people who also have tinies from B&G do? Where can i buy pants that fit them?

They are 27-28cm tall and have some big butts so i have been having trouble also sewing pants for them

Hello, sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I have recently came into the interest of buying a Tiny. And the one that caught my attention the most was the B&G Loretta boy {He matches what I'm looking for...well for what I'm turning him into} But however, I was looking for a place to buy him {I have no interest pre-ordering him and having to wait another 20 weeks or LONGER to get him like I've been waiting these almost five months to get my AE doll} I did come across the Loretta but the girl version. NOW this is where my question comes in:

What exactly is the difference between the male and female tinies of the same type? {Ex: Loretta boy, Loretta girl} How exactly are they different?

Because in most cases I see no difference.

 

I´m not familiar with Loretta dolls, but with many other tiny dolls there is really not much difference. Like with Littlefees boys have a little bit of more something in pelvis part, and Teenie Gems have neutral bodies so they can be one or another. There may be differences in the default hands a bit but most often with child dolls you can just choose the gender yourself.

Aww, this thread seems a bit inactive compared to a lot of others! Well, I got a Loretta boy last week, he is my first BJD and I absolutely adore him!

I chose him because I felt like he really looked like a little boy, whereas most tinies to me look like they could be either.. which is fine, but I tend to like my boys to really look like boys xd Just me! He's in normal yellow skin with a B&G faceup.

So here he is, I haven't gotten much of a chance yet to take better pictures of him.. but this is him so far. I've ordered a lighter wig though so his hair is only temporary! (I also didn't brush this one out before taking pictures ;n; forgive my newbness! )





I'm also likely to get him another faceup as this one just seems.. a little meh to me, but it'll do for now!

For the pants issue, I've yet to discover a solution.. I'm still new to this c: But I will definitely confirm that the pants I ordered with him (from elsewhere), are too short and he is a bit too wide for the pants to buckle. He's 28cm so I guess that is a bit big for a yosd?
