Botodolls Baby/Toddler Like Dolls

If your looking for chubby toddler or even baby like dolls Botodolls are fantastic. The artist is very creative and like some companies, also offers clothing, shoes as well as wigs for these cuties.

The website can be a little confusing as they show items as in stock, but truth is if they say Off Spot then a wait of about 2 months might be happening for you. Spot means item is in stock, but even then you could be waiting one month. While the face ups are cute the best choice one can make in ordering a doll is to go blank. The dolls ship quicker and while the face ups are well done, not face shield is used and I have had one face up ruined. Luckily the company issued a refund, but not a typical refund so money was lost to PP fees. Better to use that $50 towards supplies to do your own, or pay an artist.

The company recently added sleeping heads, but they don't come with a head cap. You are supposed to use the head cap your open eyed head came with.

Their are three heads: Bao, Bao with teeth and Pao.

I have all 3 and the sleeping heads also. Sleeping heads will be done in a couple of months. I have all 3 in light tan. The other skin tone option is Normal.

The in stock dolls right now are Bao without teeth and Pao. You have to request a sleeping head. If you ever do get Bao with teeth you would order just a Bao sleeping head as none of the sleeping heads show teeth.

The clothes, shoes and wigs are best to order in the Botodoll size. They make 1/6 as well as 1/4 and iMda, but due to the chunky bodies not all 1/6 dolls are equal. I have ordered just about every article of clothing in the Botodoll, 1/6 and iMda as all of the clothing is so reasonably priced. So if your curious as to how it will fit your Botodoll just ask me.

The dolls come even if you don't add any clothes with the following.
Default Doll
- Basic default head without make up Make up on doll is $50 more.
- Default Botodoll body without clothes and wig
-Eyes : eyeballs (offered randomly)
-Default Box
-Virtual Passport
-A small canvas bag
-A sachet
All of these are super cute and such a sweet way to ID your little one.

This is a Bao with no teeth showing. There was one, but for some reason head was noticeably larger then others. They now have 4 choices, when in stock you can get Bao, Pao, Long the newest and Tu. Also 3 skin tones.
The artist is a student who travels at times, but she can be reached via Facebook. Their is a page now on FB for Botodolls, news and updates.
Now for measurements. These I did myself and I can get anyone that asks more detailed measurements if wanted.

We actually have tulips this year. Usually rabbits eat them, but the scent of our new dog is keeping them away. So Sydney and I got some new photos.

Found these cute Mouse Ears at a Etsy shop. I have bought from seller multiple times and always a delight to open the package. She is in Spain by makes so many sizes from human down. I bought these from her Magnet/NuiMOs section. You just let her know in message that you want no bow and no magnets. No bow for boy dolls is what I mean. These took about a month to receive from order to door. The shop name is MyKiwiEars. They are well made and my kids are a 7 inch head, but I have found they work on Smart Dolls, and most MSD dolls. I also had some for my Dollshe Big girl and Twigling.

 

Found these adorable wings on Etsy. Made in USA and are 3 D printed by shop called Necessary Designs. They are for NuiMOs plush by Disney, but they work for these guys too. I also bought the Game Boys but no screens until they are 6 which means never as they are forever 3 Yrs old.

Harley is back. I got both her OE and SE faces done by Redmaiko. Can only share one photo for each post so bear with me. Harley has been sold.

Turns out Harley doesn't have a sleeping face. Her head is 18cm while the others are 17 cm so sleeping head won't work with her cap. Artist says she will redo this face into a smaller version. I will be adding that one.

 

The newest face and color in resin choices is Tu. Sold my Tu so photos gone.

 

Recent dolls have come in tighter, which is good as long as one can get head off easily. So no sueding needed. These dolls come with eyes and a cute passport.

I am down to one, a Bao. Sydney has a LOT of the clothes, because even if it turns out didn't fit I can share with granddaughter and her LTF girl, or I can find someone who can use items. Not expensive compared to most companies who make clothes.
