I've checked the wiki on BBB and the first link to their 'new' website is the one I usually use - although for the past few days it's been down as a 403 'forbidden' error message? The other link on the wiki, to the 'doll mall' takes me to their 'official' website, which I've never seen before, the photos are fuzzy? and half their dolls aren't listed? Anyone know what's going on or how to order from them? Thanks!
I just went to bobobie.net and that's working. That's the only one I've ever seen. I think some of their dolls might be on the resin soul sight as well.
I put in an order on Bobobie.net not long ago. It's the official site and it seems like a lot of people are chill with the fact the layout is kind of basic. I logged into the site too just moments ago and it seems fine. The .Net site is their new official base of operations, and should look like the picture that accompanied this post. If not maybe you're being redirected? Otherwise as far as I know the Bobobie.net site is a reliable place to order and you can save a little on shipping and if you pick the "no faceup" option compared to Junkyspot (at least that's my experience).
thanks everyone for the replies I am totally baffled though - this is the website I've always used for bobobie too (.net - as pictured by 'thelovelyghosty' - many thanks for that) I could access it fine a week or so ago. Nothing I try now works - even history in my browser which shows this page from weeks ago now comes up as 403 error message. Having googled fixing 403 errors it seems there's no solution - so basically I can't buy bobobie dolls again JunkySpot I know do them, but from America I would have to pay a pretty hefty import tax in the UK I just can't imagine how this problem's happened - Maybe I should try doing a system restore for my computer to a few weeks back - worth a try I guess
Seconding the above advice! There's also the option of buying from Resinsoul (or through Angelesque), though obviously Bobobie-specific sculpts aren't available that way. I hope it's sorted soon!
I really hope that fixes the issue! It does sound like something's happening on your end though, are there any other devices or computers you can try accessing the site from?
No there's nothing else here I can try accessing bobobie on - plus the rest of my internet is perfect as ever - not a problem - meanwhile I've done a system restore *yawn* to a month ago - still the same problem with bobobie oh well at least I'll save money LOL - no temptation from them now
Just after doing a little more research if there's ever a doll that you want that is available from Bobobie AND Resinsoul it seems like a majority of people recommend going with the Resinsoul site over Bobobie. Apparently the prices are identical but the dolls are ready sooner and come in better packaging. Customer service also seems to be better and quicker on Resinsoul.
thanks for that advice! I've only ever used bobobie before - looks like I'll have to venture out of my comfort zone now
I really wish you luck! I hope for myself that the doll I ordered from the site comes in one piece and is the actual cast I ordered >_<
sorry I missed your post earlier! I did try clearing cookies etc but my computer wouldn't allow me to set a new homepage, ore something - I gave up in the end - I think I need a new computer really! It would be a waste of perfectly good dolly money though thank you
well .... bizarrely I just checked bobobie website again (it's autocomplete in my google chrome taskbar, so I didn't even need to type the web address fully) AND today it works which is great because the photos are better (never thought I'd say that about bobobie's website LOL) and the listings are easier to navigate too! Thanks everyone for your help
I'm really happy to hear it's working now for you dear! I hope you won't encounter anymore problems from here on out~!
Thank you But..... equally randomly it vanished again not long after my last post - and I can only get a 403 forbidden error now - which means I'll never be able to order an elfkin or a Lucky
The Bobobie site works fine for me, but I've had other doll sites not work before so I've used this website to check if the website is totally down. Down For Everyone Or Just Me -> Check if your website is down or up?
oh that's really helpful thanks and no - it's not just me! Bobobie must be losing a ton of business because of this - whatever is causing it!
Hey guys, I came here wanting to ask whether you have any way of contacting bobobie or resinsoul because I have ordered a doll since january and I have NEVER gotten that doll or any updates. I even paid the doll in full and I did contact them a couple of times, none of which was replied... I hope to at least get my money back but.... Yeah...... Can anybody help me...? Is there any way of contacting them...?
There's a "contact us" page on Bobobie's website: Contact Us : bobobie Try it again, and see if they reply. Did you go directly through them or a dealer? (Also you might have better luck making your own thread because people might miss your question in this thread)
I have tried contactinh them through the website as I purchased them directly and not through a dealer. I've also made new threads and have been helped tremendously :'D
Bobobie never reply to emails, at all. Even the guy who runs Junkyspot admitted this and said their wait times were ridiculous for no clear reason. Honestly? If they haven't sent your doll in the next month i'd be filing a paypal claim because no contact isn't professional and is deeply concerning. They don't seem to be a very professional company to be honest, definitely very different to their sister company Resinsoul who are pretty good at replying. Maybe they'll suddenly start talking if you file a chargeback to get your money back.
Sorry to ask a somewhat dumb question, but can anyone access bobobie.net anymore? Only bobobie.com works for me, and I've gone on all of my devices with internet connections.... All of them say this: Firefox can’t find the server at www.bobobie.net. Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of www.example.com If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web. I've used other browsers, too, and Opera said: This site can’t be reached bobobie.net’s server DNS address could not be found. Internet Explorer: This page can’t be displayed Make sure the web address http://www.bobobie.net is correct. Look for the page with your search engine. Refresh the page in a few minutes. Does anyone know what's going on? Or does it work for y'all? I just dislike the interface on bobobie.com, so that's why I'm concerned.
Hmm that's weird. Is there a reason you're trying to reach bobobie.net? Bobobie.com works for me, so can you access what you need to on there instead?
I don't know if they've nearly run out of stock, but Bobobie.com only shows 4 60cm dolls, and it's always showed less than Bobobie.net for me. I'm looking specifically for Pandora, since Junky spot must not have her in stock either.
I have to say I'm really confused, why do BBB and Resinsoul offer almost the exact same dolls at the same prices, but Bobobie has a few exclusives while Resinsoul has much better customer service and speed? Does anyone know why? I was introduced to the sculpts first as Resinsoul so I was totally baffled when I went to Junkyspot and found the dolls there listed as Bobobie.
Bobobie and ResinSoul are close sister companies (other sister companies exist, such as Doll Zone and Doll Chateau), and when ResinSoul started, Bobobie offered their sculpts for them (which likely helped them gain exposure). Whatever arrangement they came to gave Bobobie rights to sell ResinSoul sculpts, but not the reverse, and opened up dealer routes for ResinSoul (like Junky Spot).
You can get Pandora on Denver Doll Emporium, if you're looking to get her through a North American dealer. DDE Bobobie SD
