Thank you! That one was actually stolen off a Xena Gabrielle doll, normally my Kkotmu Oskadis wears it, but she's getting some "buttup" work done at the moment. I believe the knight outfit is from a GIJoe-ish doll.

Realized today that we had all the Shiny Fairy sculpts together (of 2010 anyway - cos I'm sure BF'll release more this year). Took the opportunity to photograph this momentous event ^__~

Anyone can pick a favourite? (That's Xyn's Shiny Fairy May, there, so biased as my favourite )

Gotta catch 'em all, right? I hope any new Shiny Fairies won't resemble the Tiny Fairies' faces too much... I like that all the BF/MW dolls look like "family", but not so much the same face in different sizes.

Hana is cute too but I think I can die if BF release an Olive lookalike SF!!

The white shirt was from Nine9Style (boy shirt), and the black dress was from CCT

 

Ooohh SF May is my favorite, especially as a boy (I have one so I am biased). Runner up will be Hana and Paul

My poor little Poem fell from table last month and broke her nose.
She's sent back to Bluefairy for AS service to exchange her head to new one but hasn't come back yet.
I'm missing her badly :'(

 

Out of curiousity, do you think a shiny fairy can rock 16mm eyes? My May is currently away for face up so I can't check if he can wear 16mm or not... Does anyone have a picture?

Ebisama - When I had a Hana, I tried 16mm volks HG eyes in her and they looked good. I don't have a picture though.

 

I think my Hana is wearing 14s.... maybe 16s I can't tell from the pictures which eyes they are.... but I know I'm already planning a bunch of BF pictures this weekend so I can try to get you one of her wearing different 16s.

 

Ebisama : My Poem (pic above) is wearing 16mm Kanis Augen glass eyes. And I've seen some others SF May and Hana with 16mm eyes too.

Hey Serenia! We find Luts Honey Delf sizes work pretty well. They have some lovely designs too. Worth a look if you haven't already!

I've stuffed the toes of her leeke flats with fabric so she can stand/pose in them now. :3 They just look so big on her. XD Without socks the largeness is very obvious!!!!

I'm soo behind in this thread! I just quickly skimmed it through and I have to say there is some serious cuteness going on in here! My Noa has changed quite a bit, I changed her hair (which is still too big, the wig is msd-sized..) and eyes to lighter ones, and I quite like the result! What do you think?

is it just the faceup... the eyes look smaller imo x.x and don't get me started on her mouth x.x I tried doing an overlap with gimp that i downloaded just for that reason and I couldn't get the head to overlap correctly. I am not very aquainted with gimp so it could be my bad skill or the angle of the head was slightly different.

I posted a question on their Q&A about the renewal change and if it will be possible to order old May.

They (May and Hana) really are the all renewed head molds. Bluefairy said that on their Japan page.
And I saw many of these renewals pics taken by Japanese bloggers from I-Doll vol.32 where Sora*Iro had them displayed along with normal skin SF Connie at their booth.
They are certainly not the same old molds.

It's sad that BF decided to change SF May sculpt coz I think SF May (the old sculpt) is the cutest Yo-SD size doll ever!!! Every single one of them are exceptionally cute!!
But good thing that renewed SF Hana looks cuter, eh?

Now I'm wondering if BF will still offer old SF May for AS exchange service or not. Coz if they won't, I need to be extra careful with my dear little Poem from now on!!

And my little sweetheart Poem (SF Voyage May) will turn 1 on August 28th!!
Love her more and more everyday

turbow, happy Birthday to Poem for the 28th. I've nearly had little Luka for a year now too.


And such a shame about SF May. To be honest I don't really like the look of the new rounder lower cheek jowl on the new SF May head sculpt...the sweet little angle to the chin of the original SF May is so much cuter!

 

I'm so bummed. :P I wish I could buy one of the original Shiny May's but I guess I've lost my chances now. I hope they'll bring Connie to the international shop too. ^^ I'd love to have a little Connie in my gang, white preferably so Natalia and Noah will have their sister.
