Now that Bluefairy made the beauty white and baked skin available for Tiny Fairy's, I really hope the shiny's will follow... I want a white skinned May so bad

 

Hahaha, I think my heart can wait a few months before a release of that, though if they do make it available and it's permanent too, I definitely want it too! A cute Baked Skin Sleeping Leila... I'm excited at the thought of owning another BS doll, especially one where the head and body actually match colors, haha. I think I've heard that the BS color is a bit darker/richer now too, which I'd love.

Love all the spam, and I agree with everyone talking about TF order made, I'd love to see it implemented for shinies too.
Yesterday I went SF clothes shopping and picked up some things for my new girl, I have a name in mind too, but want to check if it fits her before I go using it! I just need her wig now which means an order to leeke, I can never afford an order to leeke, their shipping is so silly that it always feels ridiculous to buy just one wig so I end up making a wish list I can't afford just to justify postage!

Junior Boy Body, WS, May 3rd

It's adorable and amazing and cute and pretty and the fullset was amazing and I'm so totally jazzed now~ I have it perched seated on a doll stand next to me, haha, and it's so cute with a tiny bear and plant next to it for company. Its name is Silvir Stirling and it's meant to be gender-neutral, but looks quite girlish for now~ It didn't get the boots that were in the original fullsets, which I'm pouting about, and I hope I can get the shoes replaced with boots, but the fullset is otherwise such great quality. I do feel like that dark gray coat could use some tiny buttons up the front though. Something feels a bit... bare about the coat's front, just having snaps on the inside to secure it. The white dress could also use a petticoat, for modesty (the resin and tights colors show slightly through and for a puffy skirt shape. One daaayyy~

I want so many more outfits for my Silvir now. I ordered at least one more from A-S, but there's at least two others I'm also eyeing from A-S after I test out the outfit I already ordered. And then to plunder Nine9's Bunny line stash!!!

It's really good you have all your characters mapped out, I'm more prone to having certain dolls in mind but only really finding their character after they arrive, which is a little frustrating! ^^"
By the way, if you can't get the shoes changed, there's always a market for them as they fit Doll Chateau's MSD sized dolls, they're an odd size so people are usually pretty happy to have found them!

Edit: I've been fretting and fretting about sorting out her wig, I just went to check my order again, and it turns out I ordered a spare wig at the time and TOTALLY forgot. So I guess I'll try those two wigs before I buys any more!! ><"

 

My SF Minoru V arrived today, she's somehow not what I expected and I'm not sure about her but I love the body and the size! I've contacted Minoruworld in the hopes they might sell me another head in WS, it's not unheard of! Wish me luck, I really want to make this right. (The weird thing is, I still like the company photos.)
I'm trying really hard to bond with her, but I'll see what MW say.



Update: I decided not to buy a head from BF right now, they had Paul, but I couldn't make my mind up, then I saw Bliss' May 1st WS girl was up for adoption jumped on her. Now she's waiting in customs for me to pay her ransom. I can't wait to bring her home, I've had two dream dolls arrive this month, I can't believe my luck! I'll have to behave for a bit now ><" photos next week!!

Today I tried the normal SF hands on the Junior body. I think it looks actually quite cute, not weird at all!
Allthough I think the Junior hands are beautifull as they are, they are quite basic, and aren't really expressive. And there are no optional Junior hand parts sadly So SF hands could be an option! ^^
They unfortunately don't sell normal SF hands on the website though, but maybe they will if asked.

Sondabeentjes they look so cute!! The thing that always puts me off the Jr body is the hands, I'm just not a fan. In general, I'm not someone who's that fussy about what bodies look/pose like, I know it's really important to some people, but I'm pretty easy going. I always figured if I decided to get a Jr for some reason, I'd have to buy some fist parts, it's such a shame they don't sell the Shinyfairy hands, what about as spares! It's silly really. Thank you, I plan to spam when I've taken some more photos ^^

 

Last_bus_home Me and a friend of mine are going to ask if they will sell them to us. I'll post here if they do I really think the Junior hands are beautifull, but they lack expression, such a shame. I love the Junior body so much! I will defenitely buy a pair of holding hands btw, it will be so cute if the May sisters can hold hands!

 

There was a local dollmeet this past weekend. I wasn't going to take Theo because I had already crammed 7 dolls into my carrier (good thing I have lots of tiny dolls) but he looks so sad so I decided to stuff him in anyway so he can look sad elsewhere and show everyone at the meet exactly how sad he is.

What more to say? Lottie, my TF May with her little sister, still unnamed, SF May 1st, both WS.
I'm going to try to take more photos today and coax her name out while I'm at it!

My news is that following my adoption of May, and managing to sell a doll on the MP I decided I would buy a new head for my Minoru after all. I had asked for May or Paul, as I said, they had Paul (no May, but they did say they'll release WS SF May again, you can already get WS Jr May any time!)
So I decided I would go for Paul after all! I'm madly excited but she still needs face up, I've asked for girl make up with boy lips, and even then I guess I'm going to have to tweak it to get her expression right.

Fist hands are adorable, I have them for my TF Olive and I'd love them for SF Paul, my SF May wouldn't match them now!

 

Hello, I wonder if someone can help me to decide the color of a bluefairy wig? Do you have a wig "Blond ash" or "Khaki brown" that can show me a better photo in which color looks more like in the reality?

Where can I find handmade clothes for shinyfairy jr blossom body

 

I have a Shiny Fairy Paul on the way. He's a full-set. My boyfriend put him on layaway for me, to be completed just in time for our one-year. Just thought I'd pop in, say hi, and celebrate doll number nine!

 

Yay!! More Pauls!! I'm so excited, I think mine will be ready in a month or so, I'm super impatient but it will give me time to buy her things so she doesn't have to steal from my SF May ^^

He's already made, thank goodness! He's been at the local doll shop for a long time because he's yellowed, and I would look at him every time I went in. This last time I went, my boyfriend put him on layaway for me, so that I can have him for our one year. I'm hoping that when the shop owner hosts her trunk show, I can try some clothes on him and take some pictures. My boyfriend was trying to be sneaky, so I didn't snap any photos before the owner boxed him up...

 

How long do you have to wait for him? It's really sweet that you got him from a shop, you you already know him! I've never bought a doll that I've seen in person before, it must be great!

I started drawing all my BF dolls today, it was really interesting, I got down my 3 TFs and SF May (still without name!) but when it came to my Paul I wasn't sure whether to draw her or not, after all, she might end up rejecting all the ideas I have for her, wig, eyes, clothes, or even worse, I might not bond! It sounds stupid but I think it would feel horrible to get a real idea of her in my head and then find I didn't like her! ><
I guess I could always draw my Minoru V...

 

I'm allowed to have him on September 25. FOUR MONTHS. Gah!

What a cutie! I love the colors. The dark blue and the white... Also, what an adorable little mouth. Can't wait until I'm allowed to have my Paul. The shop owner he's on layaway with did say I could come and shop for him though and try on some clothes while I wait.

 

I am contemplating getting one of these little darlings -- a Hana -- and I was wondering about difficulty in finding clothes and shoes for them. Any thoughts, suggestions would be appreciated.

spensers_mom It depends on what size you want. Normal SF or Junior SF. It's pretty easy to find clothes and shoes for normal SF, they are pretty much standard yo-sd sized. Juniors are a lot taller, and can be difficult...

I just realized today that I have never shared my little guy ... I got him in 2012 when he was sold by Minoru world.

My SF Leila ^^ his name is Lumiel but I call him Miel (honey in Spanish ).


I want to get another SF but the prices from Blue fairy are too expensive! it is much more than what I originally paid for Lumiel through Soom...I would like to get Hana or Ben when I get over the different prices ^^;;

I was at the doll shop just today, trying things on my Paul. A whole bunch of different Yo-SD clothes fit him from various companies (Nine9 Style, Dollmore, and Angell-Studio). You should have no problem dressing the little dear. ^^ I did find it difficult to get the clothes on him though. He was not cooperating! His legs are a little kicky. But, once they were on, the clothes fit properly.

Aw he's so sweet, thank you for showing us the photos! I can't wait until we both get our Pauls, maybe this thread will be more active. I love seeing everyone's photos, I will take more of my own soon, I am just reluctant to take any more when I still need to get a proper wig and eyes for my little may, not to mention naming her! ^^

 

I'm happy to share them. And boy, I'm very glad that Kiyoshi is in the doll shop and not in the possession of my boyfriend. I can visit him at the shop, at least. But, my boyfriend definitely wouldn't let me anywhere near him if he was the one who had the doll.

Also, I'm glad I finally figured out what the piece of knotted rope was for in his box. I was rifling through it and seeing what came with him (the shop owner included a second outfit for me!). I saw earlier in the thread that it's so you can turn their box into a carrier and that's so cool!

I have decided that when I visit the shop at the end of this month, I'm going to try on some blue cat eyes I got randomly with another doll and see if I like them in him. He's supposed to be a demon, but I really like his default eyes... The color is just wonderful. Maybe I'll go with one of each!

Sodabeentjes: thank you! your little girl is too cute! awesome eyes and I like the messy hair, it makes her look playful like a child.

I also had trouble bonding with my Leila, he was an impulse buy and I packed him away for a few years. This year, however, I got him a new wig and a new purpose for him thanks to one of my tinies. I may have not bonded with him at first but he bonded with one of my dolls haha so now I see him with different eyes and I adore him.

This is him with his best friend (the doll who made me bond with him^^) I got some stickers from my phone and I think I got carried away...




billy001: what an adorable girl, she looks so comfy there^^ I recommend searching the small hair clips in a beauty supplies or dollar stores, I got some from those stores that are perfect for MSDs and tinies.

billy001: I believe girls are more difficult to find clothes for this size :[ aside from the places chanarivka mentioned, clothes for chibi unoa are so cute( I don't know if they are a good fit) and they are supposed to be similar sizes as the shiny fairy jr. If these dolls can wear clothes made for KIDs and chibi unoas, then you can find a lot on etsy.: ) Hopefully there's someone here who can confirm if they fit or don't fit. I think they could because of the same sizes.

I get all my clothes for Lumiel from ebay, I buy ken clothes and 1/6 action figure clothes which are very affordable and fit perfectly. I got a pair of jeans for ken that fit my boy perfectly (he has a huge butt so Yo-SD pants were always too tight and many didn't fit) plus, the clothes are always well made. Unfortunately, I don't know that much about girl clothes >_< I hope you can find what you want. Good luck!

Know that I know how easy it is to get clothes for them -- and that I can order them through LUTS! - I will have to save up to get one. But I think now I would like a Leila rather than a Hana . . . oh the choice!

Spensers_mom: I know!! I'm always going back and forth with the sculpts, especially if it is a girl because (for some reason ) I need to think carefully which girl I want to bring home...this thread is making it hard!

 

9NineStyle also has a similar sized doll, Bunny Nine, and they have tons of clothes for her too. I'm not 100% certain it fits, but they have the measurements of the doll on their website ^^

I've always thought I'm a fan of bigger dolls only but there is just something about tinies that i can't resist. I really like BF sculpts.

This is the first doll I've had the chance to prepare for before they arrived. He already owns three complete outfits, a raincoat, a sweatshirt, two pairs of shoes, and some accessories. I'm so excited for him and I can't wait to take photos of him with my boyfriend. I'm also planning on taking him out EVERYWHERE. I take all of my dolls places, but I'm thinking he might replace my pukipuki as my go-to grab-before-I-run-out-the-door-doll. I carry large bags, so he'll totally fit.

Here's Kiyoshi in the doll shop, as I was trying some clothes on him. It's an odd picture but I really like it for some reason. I couldn't tell you what it was though. Maybe because he looks so cute in that outfit? Or is it the way he fits so perfectly in my hand?:

I took me like an hour to pick it out. But it was worth the time spent!

These dolls are little hard to dress though. He has a super-kicky set of legs and his hands are kind of large, and hard to get in shirt sleeves! I did also have trouble getting stuff over his large-proportioned head as well. But, I didn't want to take it off, considering that I don't quite own him yet and I'm a clumsy, clumsy person. I would have dropped the poor dear and broken him or something... My boyfriend is still paying for him. Kiyoshi was not cooperative, the little b*stard...

The shiny heads are actually really easy to take off since they have magnetic caps and all, and also incredibly study. I am also a clumsy person all my dolls have suffer some amount of drops and accidents. XD I hope you get to own him soon and play with him. :>
They are incredibly kicky aren't they? Theo has gone from being kicky to just incredibly floppy at this point, I need to work to restring him or something .-.

 

I actually had trouble taking off the heads of all my SF's. Even though they have the head cap system, and the s-hook hole, the s-hooks Bluefairy provided did not fit through the hole!
I have bought some smaller ones so now I can easily take it off ^^

 

Oh ya. I forgot about that. It was so silly wasn't it? When I first got my Shiny I was like, YAY FINALLY. Then I realized the s-hook is too big and I laughed and sanded the hole bigger for the hook to go through. I wonder if anyone thought this through properly since this is still the case I take it for newer dolls? XD

Navci I'm not sure, my most recent SF also had a large hook, bought her last year in april. I hope they changed it! Or else I will just buy a load of smaller s-hooks for future Shiny Fairies :')

I'm actually at the moment thinking of buying just a head from BF. I have a Leila on the junior body, and her head will be going to a friend of mine. The body is now taken by a vampire girl. But I think I might enjoy a Bluefairy more then her
But not sure yet. And what sculpt to get.... Sam? Jaden? Or another May? Tough decision, I love so many sculpts
