Blending New and Old Hobbies

Hi! I’m Crystalaeluro.

I recently bought two dolls for Ringdoll, Kim and Cheshire Cat, and am waiting for them to come home to me. I was into bjds back when I was in college (in the ‘00s) and still have a few in storage somewhere.

The two Ringdolls are going to be characters from my favorite books, Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe. I have been heavy into the danmei fandom for several years and recently realized I NEEDED dolls of them. And since Ringdoll hasn’t made official dolls for them I’m just going to have to do it myself.

I’m really excited to be getting back into the world of bjds. I hadn’t realized how much I missed it.

My first project is to make Shen Qingqiu’s outfit and accessories since Kim was in-stock and should be here in a few weeks!

 

They are from the books Scum Villain Self-Saving System! Which I love and my brain decided to hyper-fixate on during the pandemic and hasn’t let go of since. And I will definitely post pictures as I make all their clothes and accessories and such. I’m even going to try to make them wigs. ‍ We’ll see how that goes.
