quick wig question....lets say i wanted to streak a dark brown wig with some blonde highlights.....could i use (watered down) bleach?
since wigs are plastic and made with colored pellets, I dont think any thing could change the color with out damaging the wig, you ought to try wefting some highlights in, micro rings are a super easy way of doing it, you can buy all the supplies you need from http://www.drlocks.net/ and the weft materials would go a long way for dolls!
ops: i was afraid of this...i just thought i couild save some money with the bleach, oh well....guess i have to shell out the cash! thanks
if you wanted to do it cheap, you could try combing a little watered down paint in. Or better yet, look for colored mascara at target or similar store, it would be temporary but you could add streaks that way.
...And it would be extremely clumpy and stiff and nasty on such a small wig (or any wig for that matter). Threading some blonde through would be very easy, and not expensive if you have a Sally Beauty in your area. Even department stores carry relatively decent hair extensions, and hair can be salvaged from those too. Good luck!
