Shopping BJD Wearable Basics

Sep 18, 2025

    1. Where are you guys buying your BJDs wearable basics? What I mean by basics is plain tees, socks, tights, and underwear. In the past, I have used Dollmore, Luts, Tata, and 9ninestyle. But I would like to know where you all are getting yours. Include the quality of the item/s if you like.

    2. I don't usually shop for clothes but I've ordered other things from Bears and Kaka Planet and have seen they have lots of basics. I've been happy with the quality of shoes and wigs I've gotten from them so I assume clothes are not worse. Both are on Taobao but some of their items are also listed in ACBJD and Legend Doll.

    3. This is a great thread. I usually make my own but knowing where to buy quality basics is alluring

    4. MyArt Bimong Dandelion has big feet about 7cm which is 3". Where can I find shoes that don't look like American Girl shoes?

    5. Try Boneka Tradition - they sell shoes by length (and width) of foot - 75mm x 32mm wide- 75X - Boneka Tradition

I like them because they're leather so they don't flake and crumble after a few years like the faux leather ones sold for BJDs often do.

    6. @Gintsumi - What size are you looking for?

    7. Yeah it might depend on the size you need! And your dolls' styles. But I like nine9, TTYA, and Tree Design the best. They all use good materials and fit my dolls very well, and I think their prices are fair. I've also gotten some good basics from rRabit, some very cute stockings in particular.

    8. Both 1/4 and 1/3

I noticed how useful these types of basics have been for preserving the look of my dolls so I thought learning of more shops would be good. Thanks for all the input so far.

    9. Dollmore!

    10. A lot of good places have been listed, but I’d like to add DollsofMine on Etsy! They are a mother/daughter team in the US and have socks, underwear and other clothing in a variety of colors and patterns for a good range of sizes. I’ve bought from them a lot and they’ve always been friendly, professional and fast. It’s handmade, but very good quality. Occasionally, they offer lucky/surprise gift bags when they clean out old inventory.

I’m also going the opposite and saying don’t buy super cheap basics from AliExpress. I’ve bought a lot, from different shops, and the heel has split on almost every single pair of socks with just normal use. Also, the ones with stripes around the top were just iron on strips that cracked and crumbled. On underwear, the hems popped on several sports bras and panties. They’re made of stretchy fabric, but the seams don’t stretch and the thread breaks easily. A lot of the tshirts were cheap fabric, see through and ran so small they looked ridiculous on my boys. I didn’t expect the best at those prices, but even so cheap, it was still a complete waste of money.

    11. The main question, Gintsumi, is what size doll do you want clothes for? Some of the makers I know only sell clothes in one or two sizes.

      But here are a few:

https://dollheart.net/en/ has clothes, shoes, and accessories for a wide range of sizes, though they seem to have more MSD/MDD sized than anything else.

KikaGoods has some really cute clothes for 1/12 due to the blind-box craze, and I find that they fit PukiPuki rather well.

Here's the clothes side of CrobiDolls: Doll Outfit - Doll Outfit

And of course Alice's Collections has a ton of basics: https://www.acbjd.com/clothes-c-3.html

    12. To be honest I was just looking to add to my list for any new places. Doll basics like plain T-shirts, socks and tights(blk or white ) are good for maintaining my crew but do wear out or don't last due to quality. My dolls are 1/3, 1/4, and 1/6.
