Personality in a nutshell: Ryuu is a talented dancer and actor with a small, independent kabuki troupe in Japan. As an onnagata, he specializes in women’s roles (all kabuki actors are men). Most of what he earns from his job goes towards paying tuition and other related expenses for the boarding school his younger twin siblings attend. Between practicing, performing, and helping out backstage, Ryuu doesn’t get out much, and he can be a bit shy and awkward in social situations. But he can also be cute and even flirty…when he can get up the courage to flirt. He has many friends in the theater but until recently he had never been kissed. Personality in a nutshell: Baqir was home schooled by Sa’id along with Kamal. Arij was the stricter
of the parents and thus was resented more. Kamal became Baqir's lover and when he was fifteen, Kamal
being twelve, Kamal was forced from their home and never seen again. Baqir left home to find his brother
and thus traveled the globe for multiple lifetimes. In the year 2009 he did find him but was disregarded
and came back to the place he’d made the most friends during his journey to settle. He is generally
seen by others as flamey, loud, physical, assertive, confident and friendly; nearer to death he becomes
more pessimistic and emotional. He forgets things easily making himself seem absent minded or ditzy at
times; doesn't always think things through and has less than average schooling thus a smaller knowledge

Personality in a nutshell: Roskva was your average young, unmarried Viking woman (around 17 years old) when the Thunder god Thor and the God of Mischief Loki came calling. Her brother, Thjalfi, then 15, thought it was a really good idea to listen to Loki and hence accidentally lamed one of Thor's goats. Thor was angry, so angry that Roskva's parents offered her and Thjalfi to the god as thrall. Thor accepted. Roskva lived with Thor in Asgard for a very long time, her aging slowed waaaay down by the ambient magics, but when young mortal (and Loki's kin) Felix comes to Asgard, everything changed. Roskva was offered the chance to return to Earth with Felix, which she accepted. She now lives with Felix in Queens, NY, and is generally confused about modern life. for her "older" age i am less flexible since i'm writing her story starting from that point- the setting is a small Hawaiian island in an alternate modern day world with occult/magical elements as well as light horror/psychological/dark themes. Yoon Ji is an inpatient at a rehabilitation facility for young girls and women on the island. if interested, character roles would be, for example, as a vampire/ghost/spirit, nurse/doctor/caretaker, or another inpatient at the facility.

Personality - YJ always appears to be a pretty low key, quiet person but is neither antisocial nor shy- she just has a reserved side at first, but also has a flip side to her personality which is quirky and impulsive when she breaks out of her "cool shell".

her interests are pretty stereotypical for a teenage girl - she loves hanging and goofing off with friends, boys (and girls, though she may not fully realize it), listening to hip-hop & pop/dance music, shopping, tanning, fashion, etc etc.
she is more athletic than academic and would rather read a magazine than a book, but she is not "too stupid to read" - she's just not so interested in it, and isn't a totally superficial person- she just needs someone to expand her cultural horizons.

her main flaws are that she is incredibly lazy, a little amoral (but not evil- examples of being "a little amoral" might be shoplifting or skipping school) and prone to taking risks or acting without forethought or anticipating consequences.

Paris is your average kid-- caring parents, no siblings, a pet dog, lives in an apartment in a nice neighbourhood and goes to a nearby private school in Auckland, New Zealand. Additional background info: Drusilla Steele is a beastwoman, a creature obtained from a cat through complex methods by Doctor Moreau in the last years of the nineteenth century. Thanks to her feline heritage and the apprenticeship with the Dreamer Randolph Carter, Dahlia found the Silver Key to the Dream Realms, where she actually resides, outside the flow of time. Personality in a nutshell: Fynn has always considered himself an elf, but he feels he's at odds due to his being raised by two human farmers. As he grew older, Fynn found that he loved to grab a backpack and travel to the adjacent towns to gather some supplies for the farm and sell things at the market. His parents noticed that he would start to get anxious if he had to stay home for too long, so they eventually had him go out on his own once he was considered old enough. He made friends with another elvish girl named Momo, and the two began to travel around together. Fynn found that he enjoyed helping people as he went, and got a name for himself for fighting off ogres and dragons that would attack the towns he traveled to.

The longer he spent time with Momo, the more he realized he really wasn't quite an elf, but he hasn't been able to find out much more than that. Momo has told him that there are times Fynn seems out of it, like he's not himself. In actuality, he is not even from this realm in the first place, and there is something else, someone else inside the pointy eared fellow who has all the answers.

Personality in a nutshell: Gage is kind of serious, but also pretty silly at times. He's rather "butch", not a speck of "girly" in him. He’s wrapped around his 3 year old daughter’s finger (he’s divorced), and due to his job he travels a LOT. He’s still pretty new to me, so I’m still figuring him out. Again, he isn’t looking to jump straight into something serious – between travelling with his job, being busy with his daughter, and his semi-recent divorce (it’s been 2 years), he’s really just interested in friends to start. If it becomes more, that’s fine, but not right away.

I’m pretty serious about my rp, and while I don’t expect someone to be on every night, I do need thought out plots – I know, they do what they want and it goes where it goes – but some basic plans… not just random “pop in” then leave it hanging in the middle and never go back. I know, sometimes if it’s a big thing going on, we might need to pause and time-warp pick it up the next time, that’s cool too. But my characters are all tied in together, so I can’t let things sit for ages with no resolution. I’m semi-flexible on playing times, but evenings (US Central time) are best.
