Why are you looking for a BJD penpal? I'm just looking for more friends in the hobby (as I don't really have any). Having friends brings out more excitment in the hobby, and that's something I'm kinda lacking as I don't talk to the BJD friend I used to have. And since I love this hobby I would like to be able to talk and share with someone who is interested in BJDs as well. :'D

Who is your favorite doll, and what are they like? Well I can't really say I have a favorite! That's like a parent saying they have a favorite child. Lol. I have 3 dolls and a floating head (they're all listed in my sig). I love them all, but I will say, Citlali is the most photogenic. XD
Ummm, My boy Tsuki and Citali are in a story together about a post apocalyptic world. My Ltf is in her own story, she's a fairy. And my floating head Jina is also in his own story. He's secretly in a rock band. Last two stories haven't really been developed.

Who is your favorite doll, and what are they like?

Metaphisto is MY BABY, he is a Dollshe (formerly IM) Hound. DS Hound was my BJD first love; my grail doll. He is also my first OC. So yeah he’s my baby.
I’m always changing his backstory (I struggle with Sci fi vs Fantasy.) So here’s some stuff that always remains, his base character.
He’s a total ladies man, might be considered an incubus. He’s not a big talker typically just makes sounds, ‘chuckles’ a lot. He is also a few screws loose on the mental scale, will occasionally freak out (more often than not.) He does not sleep.

Is there a specific type of doll(s) or any companies you really like? I luv Dollshe! Also I intend to keep the majority of my doll family msds. My human size is msd. (My boy is literally a freaking giant ._.)

What's your current BJD goal? I am currently saving up for Gadget, my boy Gizmos twin sister. She is a Unoa Luisis Mnf hybrid, also saving for future mods. Almost all my characters need mods of some sort.

Why are you looking for a BJD penpal? I've managed to convert practically my whole household to bjd lovers (4/6 now have dolls) but I don't know anyone outside of the family that even knows about bjd and I'd love someone to talk to. It's a hobby that I'd like to become more involved in.

Who is your favorite doll, and what are they like? My favorite doll is my Honey Delf Lolly. Her name is Brandy and while she was technically my second doll I think of her as my first. I have two dolls on layaway at the moment but right now Brandy is the only one at home. I haven't developed her character a whole lot but I like to think of her as a sweet, innocent girl.

Is there a specific type of doll(s) or any companies you really like? I only have Yo-SDs (as does the rest of my family). I suppose that out of all the companies, LUTs is definetely my favorite(it's a family favorite actually). We have four Honey Delfs in the family(although one is incoming).

What's your current BJD goal? I'd like to learn to sew and someday I really want to go to a meet. I'm just too nervous to go alone and my sisters are all younger and don't want to go at all.

I just like talking to people in general. For me, it's a lot like reading a book but with infinitely more possibilities since you and the person you're talking to are the authors of your own stories.

Why are you looking for a BJD penpal? I don't have a lot of BJD friends irl yet. It would be nice to talk to someone who understands and loves the same hobby! And like I said earlier, I just really like meeting new people and talking to them in general. I find a sort of quiet happiness in that.

Well, right now, I have already started the process of obtaining my first ever doll, which is a Souldoll Soul-Kid Asen I am head over heels in love with. She's definitely my favorite! Though I have 3 other dolls that I'm seriously contemplating on getting. (Doll Chateau Colin and Bella, DollnDoll Diamond Noel)

Is there a specific type of doll(s) or any companies you really like? I find myself drawn to MSDs. I am also in love with "quirky" sculpts like those from DollnDoll, Souldoll, and Doll Chateau.

What's your current BJD goal? I just want to be a good owner, knowledgeable and able to care for her babies. That's really important to me, especially since I'm a really busy college student. In the future, I hope to be able to make clothes and wigs for my dolls.

Do you especially want to find other people who share your favorite dolls or company? Yes, definitely! I certainly believe that this community lacks Asen and Noel love. But I'm really open to meeting other people as well because, most especially as a newbie, I'd love to hear everyone's differing points of view on doll aesthetics, modding, and just the hobby in general.

Any "important" information that people should know: I'm a HUGE history buff and I tend to like sharing random facts. I would prefer not to talk about religion since I'm questioning the whole thing (I was raised Catholic, though), and I don't really want to talk about politics since I have an extremely strong opinion when it comes to it (although I don't force my ideas on anyone!). I'm also fairly new to the hobby, and haven't really met too many people. Also, I have a dry sense of humor.

Why are you looking for a BJD penpal? Like I said, I'm relatively new to this hobby, and since I live in the middle of nowhere, it's hard to find people to talk to about it. Plus, my family is still not 100% on board with the idea that I have a doll. I would really just like to meet new people.

Who is your favorite, and what are they like? Well, since I only have one doll, my favorite is Allison Loraine, a Kid Delf Darae who has been with my for a little over three months. She's so cute and so sweet, and we share the same interest in history (she loves learning about the Romanovs). I'm still trying to develop more of her character, but she's going to be a sweet, little stinker.

Is there a specific type of doll(s) or any companies you really like? I really, really love Soom's Rosette School of Dolls because their girls legs are sooo long (and I love long legs, comes with being a runner). Marguerite and Violet are my favorites so far. I also love the Delf Miyu sculpt, and she is my grail doll for sure. I hope to eventually purchase one a couple of years down the road.

What's your current BJD goal? Since I'm a busy college student, I'm just trying to get clothes for her and find the right fit for her personality. It seems like every time I find a cute outfit that's perfect for Allison, I can't afford it or my mom gets mad at me for "wasting" my money.

As far as politics goes, I have to warn you it's my day job: I'm a socialist and a Labour party county councillor, but I'm not evangelical about it. I can't see myself ever getting on with someone who identifies as UKIP or BNP though! My other interests include history (I'm studying C19th politics as a grad student), classic horror, ska music, and vintage fashion. I also like 1/12 scale and fashion dolls - my mum deals in vintage Sindy so it's kind of inevitable!

Who is your favorite doll, and what are they like? I've recently had to sell my 2 DZ MSDs in order to buy my dream doll - a Zaoll Luv which I intend to mod to a boy, his name is Beau Lysander and he's, to put it plainly, a bit of a man-slag, but everyone love's him because he's one of those annoyingly likeable guys who everybody should hate, but can't help liking, also he's narcoleptic which is triggered by stress.
He was an orphan, but because he has an IQ of 198 (wowzers) he got a scholarship to a boarding school where he was brought up to play instruments (the violin, guitar, bass, piano, cello, flute) and generally be a bit of a likeable jerk.

Is there a specific type of doll(s) or any companies you really like? I tend to like really odd sized dolls (not on purpose, that's just the way it goes) like unconventional proportions etc (like the zaoll, basically a short SD), I've only ever had dollzone dolls before but with Beau I'm branching out to Dollmore and after that, who knows?

What's your current BJD goal? With Beau I'll be doing my first ever mods - FtM, his faceup, tattoos, piercings, etc - my goal is simply to make him into the perfect Beau - in my eyes at least!

He's from the same story as Deimos and is part of a rebel gang. I also have an unhealthy love for Souldoll, especially Souldoll Chiron (both human and centar versions). I tend to prefer SD's though there are some tinies that I would one day like to buy.

Any "important" information that people should know: As far as religion and politics go, if you want to talk about it I'm OK with it though I might not agree with you. I'm fervently atheist, but fascinated by the psychology of religion, so I have no problem with open-minded religious people. Politically I'm pretty liberal and generally apathetic, but don't usually get on with Conservative types. I do NOT want to talk to anyone with bigoted, prejudiced, homophobic views. No way. Not that I've seen many on here!

I'm also a bit of a grammar Nazi! I would never correct anyone's writing or be arsy about it, but I find constant abbreviating of speech and misspellings incredibly distracting and in text-based conversations it can be a make-or-break thing for me. My dolls are all based on Gothic horror fiction, all taking the forms of monsters or creatures from mythology. I really enjoy discussing BJD characters and storylines with people and I like hearing about the worlds people have created for their dolls to inhabit. Why are you looking for a BJD penpal? I don't meet very many people in real life because my life revolves around Pharmacy school so it would be nice to find some new friends online. It can be pretty lonely while I'm away at college. None of my classmates are interested in BJDs. I would like someone to talk to who has similar interests (you can see some of my non-BJD related interests on my profile and on my dA profile). Also, I haven't come up with bios/personalities for any of my dolls yet so I would love to talk to someone about this topic.

Who is your favorite doll, and what are they like? I love all of my dolls equally. I sometimes have temporary favorites though.

Is there a specific type of doll(s) or any companies you really like? Not really. I used to have a strong preference for MSDs, specifically Iplehouse MSDs. But I've since purchased other companies dolls and other sized dolls and have discovered that I love these other dolls just as much as my Iplehouse MSD.

Who is your favorite doll, and what are they like? OH. TOUGH ONE. >.> My favorites are a toss up between two (but don't tell them!). My Soom WS Dia boy (Antares) and my Volks NS School A (Balthazar). I just love them. They are the most complete feeling characters in my world, I suppose. Both have faceups I adore, all their tattoo work done and generally... I love their characters to death. They are just sort of my babies, haha.

I find that I don't like the asthtetic of the Chinese brands (though there are a few that surprise me). I have nothing against them (I have owned one before), they are just not my cup of tea. He's become one of my characters, The Mad Scientist. His name won't change too much from the company's mold name, from Lazule => Lazarus. He plays with genetic experiments and lives in a huge mansion. He's incredibly lonely (oh, gotta love that cliche!), which is WHY he "makes" friends.

Is there a specific type of doll(s) or any companies you really like? I'm noticing I tend to lean more toward SD's and more specifically Soom. I think female dolls are beautiful, but am more likely to fall in love with the male ones. I've been really in Doll Chateau girls lately as well.

I don’t really do favorites too much…more so it’s a question of which doll I am paying the most attention to at this moment, and that’s a toss up between my Elfdoll Dami (Murmur) my Pluto Doll Vergil (Gideon) and my Migidoll Miho (Kenzi). What are they like? They all have pretty involved story lines--if you want to know, ask!

Is there a specific type of doll(s) or any companies you really like? Right now I am very much smitten with Doll Chateau, and ANother Secret, but also like Migi and Supia. As for specific molds--I am deeply in love with Soom Dias (as boys) and Dollshe Saints, too.

Any "important" information that people should know: My dolls are all based on original characters that vary greatly in their beliefs and sense of morality. Most of my characters have something in them that someone could find offensive. Some are gay, while others are homophobic. A few of them are violent and would probably be called evil by most if they were real people. A couple of them are quite religious, and a couple more are the kind that go to church on holidays and spend the rest of the year doing all the things their church says not to do. Mental issues are also part of many of their characters.
My personal spiritual and political ideals do not quite match those of any of my characters. (heck, most of them don't even like the same music as I do.) However, if anyone is extremely sensitive to religious, moral, or political issues even if they are only being discussed as part of a fictional story, we would probably not be a great penpal match.

Why are you looking for a BJD penpal?: I would like someone who has similar BJD interests as I do. I would like to discuss stories, characters, and ideas for the physical dolls themselves.
If I could find people who live close, I would like to try designing sets together and doing photoshoots (hopefully they would be better with a camera than I am.)

Who is your favorite doll, and what are they like? My favourite changes often. One of my oldest doll that I still really enjoy is my V2 Dollshe Husky, Fox. As a character, he is selfish but can be caring deep down and is loyal to the people he does love, to be short. His backstory is extensive and is too long to put here. He is married to my friend's character that is also doll-shelled, and they adopted a child together.
My doll that gets the most clothing and props is my Oasisdoll Alejandro/AoD girl to boy mod hyrbid, Hilary. The character comes from an imaginary world based on games my brother and I played as a child. Simply put, he's a miserable jerk. He has reasons, but that would also be too long to put here. The doll is overwhelmingly pink and frilly and, to me, brings to mind the food from the movie Marie Antoinette.

Is there a specific type of doll(s) or any companies you really like?: I love Dollshe- everything from the original Bermann to the Rythmos body. I am also becoming a fan of Oasisdoll. I just ordered another one of them.

What's your current BJD goal? I want to finish all of my doll projects, especially sanding and blushing a few I have not done yet. I also want to fix up a rococo-esque set for all of my fabulous fop dolls that need a place to let their lace and silk spread out and eat clay cakes.

Who is your favorite doll, and what are they like? My doll Bartlebee is a combination of a myriad of theological and literary characters that I admire. He was first my muse and the subject of my writing, I have completed a book of short stories and two manga with him as the main character. He has changed in name and form through out the years since his first appearance in 2004 as a red haired demon named Nuntios in my graphic novel Sanctuary. He transformed into Cecil, Nanako, Ajax, Kyan, Leopold, Beatrice, Isabella, and finally came to be known as Bartlebee. His story is that he is the second angel to fall after Lucifer, Beezelbub the first of Lucifers commanders rules over the 3rd ring of hell where the gluttonous reside tortured by Cerberus. Cerberus consumes the damned and ravishes them with his three heads and as he devours them, he passes them inside his body whole again and excretes them into a lake of ice and shit. Beezelbub returns to earth in many forms to enjoy the pleasures of men and corrupt the innocent as well as attempt to reunite with God. Beezelbub remembers being an angel and admires the chaste and children. He is the patron saint of lost children, but also the demon of devouring them. He is both the angel of Charity and the demon of Gluttony. He encompasses both yin and yang, good and evil, and remains neutral to both. He is a Bobobie Soul MSD, his wigs and attire changes and he is not confined to one gender. But the doll never changes.

Is there a specific type of doll(s) or any companies you really like? Personally, I only collect MSD and smaller. I looked at dolls for so long that I forced myself to only admire ones I could conceivably afford. Now larger ones tend to scare and put me off. I still like them, when I find a doll I like and realize they are an SD I am pleasantly surprised. But I will not be purchasing them. They do not fit my style or house. Who is your favorite doll, and what are they like? My favorite doll is still my first doll who is a hybrid. Luts 2009 Summer head + AoD body. He's a passionate musician who gets girls smitten with a simple smirk. However, he has a secret.. A sick, psychotic secret.

Is there a specific type of doll(s) or any companies you really like? I collect male dolls mostly. I like 60CM and above sizes most. ^^;;

What's your current BJD goal? Ace doll photography, sew doll stuff, face ups/tattoos... well, a lot of things. XD

Do you especially want to find other people who share your favorite dolls or company? Not really. As long as you collect dolls, I don't mind.

Who is your favorite doll, and what are they like? My favourite doll is my Crobidoll Ys, Kazuki. He's partially retired for the moment and my Crobidoll Ho-Bin has taken his place as sort of a 2.0 of his character, but I will always love this mold the most ^^ He's gone through a lot in developing his character, but basically he's set in a supernatural setting as hunter.

Is there a specific type of doll(s) or any companies you really like? I'm reallllly into Crobidoll. If you look at my profile, you'll see that of the 16 dolls I have/am waiting on, 11 are from Crobi xD I'm also getting more into Volks Dollfie Dream.

What's your current BJD goal? Now that I have all my 'normal' dolls, I want to start practicing modding and faceups again and actually continue on with that kind of work so I can have more quirky dolls. My strives for this year are an albino doll, amputee, and gore-mod (none of which are meant to be offensive in any way, I just have characters like that I want filled into dolls).

Do you especially want to find other people who share your favorite dolls or company? I'm a pretty open-minded person with dolls of original characters that range from modern-based to fantasy-based, straight and gay, and I like talking with others that are open-minded and have similar ways about their dolls. I don't really have a preference on dolls that anyone should have, though a majority of my dolls are 1/3 scale males so there may be a bit more to talk about there, but I love all sizes and anthros (mostly cats).

Any additional info about your BJD(s) you want to share: Most of my bjds are in somewhat of a supernatural setting involving vampires, werewolves, ghosts, etc. But they also have non-supernatural counterparts for when rping/corresponding with others that don't have their dolls in that kind of setting.

Why are you looking for a BJD penpal? My friends think its cool and my parents dont care and find it intresting but they really dont get it at the end of the day. Its hard to have a conversation with them when they dont understand a word I say when I talk about BJDs.

Who is your favorite doll, and what are they like? I have a IS Annabele (Annabella). Currently she is my favorite, but I know once I go back to America I have a lovely doll waiting for me Dolllove Xue Ying(Yui). Then I will have my two favorites.
