BJD Panel/Meetup at Comic-Con International:San Diego, Sunday 7/21

      • Comic-Con International at San Diego Convention Center Room 32AB
      We will have participation from VolksUSA, Bruce Thomas from San Diego BJD Con, and Pam Ford of PamSD's Miniature Costuming. Panelists will share information about the community, history and artistic process behind ball-jointed dolls. You'll also have the opportunity to learn the basics about BJDs and pick up tips on customizing, maintaining, and photographing these beautiful dolls. Share the beauty of your own unique doll, or just see the many dolls on display.

      You must have a membership to the convention to attend, as the panel/meetup is in the convention center. The meetup will begin with a short intro/discussion/Q&A, then the remaining time will be spent as meetup and photo time. We generally have a large variety of BJDs displayed, so feel free to join in!

      Please keep in mind that there are no sales allowed in any of the program spaces.

    3. Since the Dollfie Icon thread has been locked, I guess we could discuss the panel here. I'm gonna be honest I'm quite disappointed there is no live stream it seems, just "live reporting", which isn't really live at all :sigh Way to get my hopes up.

      I'm looking forward to attendees who share photos though, keep 'em coming here :D

    4. Live stream of the panel? I don't recall saying there would be one. We don't normally live stream our panels. Volks had a person there taking video, but not sure if he was live streaming or not. I can definitely say that CCI wasn't.

    5. Yeah it was just a misunderstanding on my part, and a lot of others on Facebook as well unfortunately :sweat Live reporting just sounds like live streaming, which is what a lot of people do nowadays. Oh well.
