Tutorial BJD kites (1/3)

Hi there! Making a flying kite is tedious and if you're me, you'll be stuck with glue, but the result is worth it. You need thin wooden skewers, colored papers, paper glue, threads, scissors, "invisible" fishing line and wooden stick.

Pre-draw the shape of your flying kite on colored paper. It won't fly by itself, but with a fishing line and a stick, the illusion will be perfect, and the subsequent photo editing will help with the rest. Cut out the basic shape - it can be easier than this.
Every flying kite needs a leader thread, a tail and a fishing line if you want it to fly in photos...

First, make a basic shape, then glue the wooden sticks to it with paper glue. You can wrap the ends of the skewers with thread, but it is not necessary. Make a tail and other decorations. Use your own imagination!

You can also make a garland of real or wooden leaves and other small things. For this you need colored cotton thick thread, decorations and a glue gun. Manufacturing is easy. Make loops at the ends.
