I want to see some tiny furniture! From craft finds to your own work. Here's a chair I made for my Feeple 65, Myra. It's a (heavy) candlestick base, with a black-painted round wooden piece from a hobby store as the base of the seat. Then I took a piece of foam covered with fabric and glued it to that. I covered the small foam back part with fabric and glued that on as well. The back part is actually a re-purposed Barbie bed headboard that I curved by putting it in hot water, and then painted. Unfortunately, gluing it on made the side look really ugly, so I put on two layers of lace trimming. It was made before my doll actually arrived, so it's a little small and kind of looks like a bar stool. I like it, though! The other candle stick will become a table when I have time to craft again. I have ridiculous amounts of this fabric, so the next project might be a couch.
I don't have anything to add, yet, but I've just been thinking how I'll have to quit looking & start making the furniture I've been thinking of. SO this thread will be great inspiration for me! Both seats look amazing.
here's a sofa I made for mine and my partner's boys . Sewing the cushion was a bit beyond my sewing abilities but I sid get it done, albeit a little wonky .
I love doll sized furniture! Thanks you for the post and everyone for your photos. They look great!!!
I love your furniture! I really want to make a sofa for my girls, but right now I feel I still have to finish thir characters before I move on to other projects (Or they will be unfinished forever)
Yay doll furniture! I hope to start designing doll furniture that can be 3D printed and assembled at home. Lots of good filament these days that could give interesting looks.
3D printing sounds extremely interesting, I would love to have a look at (and probably buy) this. I'm constantly on the lookout for beautiful furniture, that is not to heavy on my purse though ^^.
That stool is pretty, nice idea re-using a Barbie bed piece. I'm considering making furniture out of wire and sculpy clay for my dolls. If only if only I had the money to 3d print pieces.
It looks lovely! I never would have thought to use a candlestick holder, you've got a great eye and crafty mind to think that up!
Such creative chairs!! I actually have some of those Michael's wood cutouts, now I'm burning to make a throne. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and including pictures of them!
Love this! I'm going to attempt a couch for my 65 and 70 cm boys. What size are the guys n dementions of the couch?
I love to buy furnitures to my dolls. They need at least one chair each. This two gardenchairs did come home today. They are 1/4.
This big boy in 1/2 got an old chair made for a child. I put him stuck with a tension band, I do not want him to fall down from the bench.
I have a bookchelf with 3 homes full of furnitures in 1/4 and 1/3. I am working on this homes every day. I would love to give all of my bjds an own home, but at least the get an own chair.
