Bimong website Narae resin colours??

    1. Hi all,
      I was looking on Bimong's site thinking of buying a narae, but the resin colours listed are different to the ones i'm familiar with... they are listed as: Normal France resin, realskin france resin, normal korea resin, realskin korea resin, white france resin, white korea resin.
      Instead of the white, pinky white, golden beige, tanning etc. I am used to seeing.

      Can someone clarify this for me please? Since I'm trying to maybe match a Narae head to a different company's body... resin colour is an issue for me

      As for french resin vs korean, french resin is a special resin that has a softer look to it. Very few other companies use it as its a "special" resin. Zoall dolls have the same type of resin (and option). "Korean" resin is the resin most typically used by other companies.

      I'd suggest looking/posting in the photo request forum for resin matches and hybrids of naraes.

      Thanks and I'm aware of all that trouble that's been going on, I intended to order directly from Bimong in a couple of months, not through Dollfair. Hopefully everything will be sorted by then ^_^

      I know what french resin is, but thanks for the clarification on korea resin! that had me utterly bamboozled. I'm currently investigating Narae resin matches, but the difference in terminology used makes no sense to me. Bimong doesn't seem to offer a tanned option, and I don't know how normal skin/real skin translates to pinky white/golden beige/etc.
      Is anyone able to shed some light on this?

      Bimong says he'll be posting photos of his different resin colours in the next few weeks, so hopefully that will help clear up some of the confusion, unless of course the colours that Narin Creative use are different to Bimong's, in which case I have no hope of making a colour match XD

    4. The new "tan" option is the Real Skin color he is offering now, though it is not a very dark tan. I have a head in the Real Skin color made with the Korean/opaque resin if you would like to see an example. I too was also going to try matching the head to another company's body, and the closest match for that particular skin tone someone had suggested to me was Angeldoll's Vivid Skin, and the neck width on the body would also be a match for 60cm Narae heads. However, if you are looking for the 60cm bodies, Bimong has mentioned that the new 60cm girl bodies are just about finished and should be available at some point this month. Unless of course you had your heart set a particular body from another company, but if you wait to see what the new bodies look like, you at least wouldn't have to play the color match guessing game.

    5. Thanks so much! That has cleared up a lot for me, and I'd love to see a pic of the new tan ^_^
      I'm actually looking to hybrid a Narae 43 head to a Minisupia or Limhwa body :) fingers crossed for finding out if it's possible.
