Resin Comparison Bimong new normal skin match

Nov 8, 2025

    1. Does anyone have pictures of Bimong's new normal skin head or body together with matching skin tones from other brands? I got a Narae head in, supposedly in new normal (no COA) in that is lighter than I expected. I'm not aware of differences in resin batches over the years. This head is at least 5 years old, has not yellowed much. Is very pale, not pinkish or beige. I was planning to get a MNF body in natural skin, but want to be sure it will match.

    2. I once got the new normal narae fusion body for my MNF back when the narae fusion was still occasionally for sale; granted my head is from 2017, but it did not match well because of the difference in hues. New normal is too pink and FL is yellower.
I switched the narae fusion body for one in classic normal instead and it's been a much better match.

Spoiler tl;dr is the classic normal matches FL NS better in my experience, for anyone looking. As for your Narae head, Rosinha, if you place it on a MNF body you'll likely have to do some blushing/tinting to match it.
The one in classic normal is still slightly pinker than my head and I can see how it could be considered brighter, but honestly it's not that noticeable off camera and some of the pinkness has already faded for me since I kept her out on display. I feel that if I leave my Bimong resin out even in ambient light the redness fades faster than other resins, but perhaps it was more noticeable to me because my Narae body from 2018 was quite pink (not the same resin as classic normal) and now there isn't a shred of pink hue left. She's like a very pale creamy NS now.

    3. That describes it well: very pale creamy NS. Maybe that's what happened to my new normal head as well. That could actually mean it will be paler than FL NS and easier to blush.

    4. @Rosinha I think so! FL NS is not as bright as the most common normal skintones.

    6. @Rosinha dang I can't believe it's already been 5 years... I only ordered my body in 2023 and received it at the beginning of 2024 so mine is unfortunately much newer and it's hard to compare with the photo.

However based on this picture she seems pale enough that you could blush her head to match the FL body anyway. If you have a hard time finding pigmented pastels for the job, pan pastels are known for their banger pigmentation and are often used even for whitening old heads.

    7. It's probably safer than finding a matching body without clear reference. And maybe also nicer than an entire pale doll.
