66cm+ Dolls Bimong Narin68 Grey box opening

Jan 15, 2026

    1. This boy was a long time coming...a bit over two years: ordered November 2023 and received January 2026. It was a long process of trying to work out deadlines and get the doll sent out to me, thankfully with help from a friend who'd also been through the Bimong waiting process.
His arrival was no less dramatic than the ordering process: on the day I picked him up, I had to tempoaraily evacuate my house because of bushfire risk and unfavourable weather. Thankfully I have since been able to return home and the weather has cooled down.

One box. Not opened by the Australian Border Force unlike my Narae from July. The doll was underdeclared at $50 USD without me being consulted, so thankfully the parcel arrived safely. He's extremely light for a 1/3 doll with the entire parcel weighing slightly over 2.5kg

The outer box opened with bonus Korean snacks inside.

The doll underneath. He was a bit too long for the shipper and was positioned with bent knees: my guess is this is the largest/longest shipper Korea Post has (AusPost certainly don't have anything anywhere near 1/3 doll size). He also came with a bag of option parts and some bonus gift doll-scale baskets.

The option parts bag: 3 pairs of feet (ballet, heel and regular - the doll's feet were detached for shipping) and one genital part (he was sent with a cup piece attached)

The doll removed from the shipper, still with his bent knees. He was thoroughly mummified and survived his postal trip unscathed. The doll also came with CoAs for the head and body.

One unmummified doll. While getting this doll was like pulling teeth, I'm very glad to have him. Bimong dolls handle completely differently from any other doll I've played with. He stands quite easily, but has a sort of natural way of falling into poses, so it's more a matter of working with him instead of putting him into a particular pose. He's also beautifully sculpted. I don't have any concrete plans for him yet, but I'm certain his character will reveal itself as I handle him.

    3. Congratulations on your arrival! It's wonderful that he's home safely at last. Not having concrete plans can make a new doll even more fun <3 hope that turns out to be the case!

    4. @aihre and @AlisonVonderland thank you! He's rejected every free wig in my wig stash (of course) but at least now I know he wants either black or blonde hair, and probably a lacefront. Time to browse Taobao for wigs, I guess!

    7. Love Bimong dolls, I used to have an older Narae. Can't wait to see what you do with him. Even just laying he looks like he poses like a dream.
