40–49cm Dolls Bimong Narae Fusion N404

Last August, Bimong held his last in stock order (and second to last order for his dolls), where I bought a Narae 404 fusion. I wanted the 14mm version, but it wasn't available for that order or for the final order. I actually got the body for my Fairyland minifee Spring 2017 head, since I sold the old fusion body I had due to wanting a smaller chest size and all the extra hands and feet parts which could no longer be bought separately. I couldn't scale down the chest size at first, but Bimong held onto the doll through the final order to send a final order gift to me, so in that time his wife was also able to find a smaller chest piece for me.




This time there is no doll box, which I honestly don't mind since I already have a lot of boxes (including a Bimong box).



I'm saying this completely neutrally, and it should help people in the future looking for these dolls secondhand: she is pretty rough. There are places more rough than others, with a visible rough texture to the inside of the head cap. Bimong's retirement was largely because of his hand condition, so I imagine it is because of this. He already soft retired back in 2018 when I ordered my first Narae (42C) and that was part of the reason I did so. The 2018 Narae is smooth; the first/early Narae fusion release had a nice papery finish kind of like Souldoll; and this August order is rough where it feels like it could use more sanding. If anyone buys one secondhand in the future and starts to panic over the authenticity of the doll based on the finish or they just don't know what to expect, I hope this box opening post can serve as a data reference for them.



The resin match is not as bad as it is on camera, but it is also not perfect. I'm satisfied however, and especially satisfied with having fixed the neck fit this time. I ordered more kips and stacked about 3 of them underneath her neck connector, so it finally doesn't look like she's constantly hunching the way she did on the old fusion body without kips to extend the neck height. It's visible in the picture, but the magnet fell out of her other pointe foot, so I have to figure out how to get that back in.

I'm sorry I was so lazy to upload pictures to DoA for a long time because I hate having to find file hosting in 2024. There's no easy way to do everything from my phone which is just too annoying.
