Body Comparison Big hips and thighs (female bodies)

I feel like I've seen quite a few newer sculpts with those features lately - I just can't think of names at the moment!

However, you might like to keep an eye on DoDollsDream sculpts for the future. The artist just finished a preorder for her Teacup (1/6) size - they have very chubby thighs and wide hips:

The 1/3 girls also have wider hips and thighs - it isn't as exaggerated a pear shape as the Teacups, but here's the link just in case you like them:

Her current 1/4 line is discontinued, but she seems to design new dolls very frequently, so I'm hoping she will start a new 1/4 line in 2024.

I think some of the Haru 1/4 girls also have wider hips. Maybe check his pages:

Souldoll Soulkids new double body has wider thighs/hips (that makes finding pants very difficult ).

 

That's currently the on-trend body shape and size, so there's quite a few to choose from! Most of the western artists seem to be making dolls with that body shape right now.

• 2D Doll 41cm SY girl -- I have one, she's a unique size and troublesome to find pre-made clothes for.
• Guard-Love 40cm Angel -- I have one; it's adorable and I love it.
• ImomoDoll offers bodies in both resin and vinyl -- be aware the 1/4 mature body's thighs are too big to fit most pre-made pants. I have both styles of the vinyl, but not the resin.

If you want a cartoony style, Rap1993 has Danni V2 and her bunny girls in 1/4 size! I have Danni V2 in almond and she has a great pear shape! The bunny girls are slimmer but also have a nice pear shape. She also lists the measurements for each doll on her website so that customers know what to look for when purchasing clothing.

 

SartoriaJ has 1/4 and 1/3 Aphrodite bodies with big hips ans thighs. I don't know how big you want it to look, but it's like a conventional beauty level of large hips and thighs.

 

If you are open to vinyl, the Dollfie Dream Dynamite (DDdy) is a 1/3 doll with big hips and thighs with the nice addition of a fuller waist (in comparison to the standard DD). If you don’t like the DDdy’s cartoonish bust you can always trim a DD or DDS bust so you can have the size/shape you want.

Imomodoll and Kumako are 1/4 resin dolls that are pear shaped but they’re more chibiesque.

 

The Sproutingdragon female 1/4 body seems to fit your criteria. I got it last week and it is very stable when standing with good flexibility. Reasonably priced too.

Clockwork Fairy's Sophie has big hips and thighs. I'm not sure if she has any Sophies left though - she is discontinuing her 1/4 line.

She's 1/3, but I think 2DDoll 68cm girl has the best hips and thighs of any 1/3 girl. On Alice's Collections.

My hybrid girl, she generally fits 65-68boy clothes, but fitted pants are gonna be tricky to buy.

 

Don't know if anyone has mentioned Guard Love's 1/4 Chubby body- I have one and it's beautiful.
Impldoll just released their new "Plump" body and while it's not, alas, plump, the hips and thighs are.

 

I second the new Impldoll 1/4 Plump body, I have one at home and it is beautifully sculpted, poses well, and comes in a variety of colors. I go her in real skin to match Fairyland natural skin and it’s a decent match.

Here's how she sits. She can pull her knees up but she can't exactly reach to hug around em cuz her legs are thick. Tipping her chest section further forward might do it, now that I look at the pic.
