Better late than never -- Luciel, Ringdoll Lucifer-Arios

It's been a little while since I've received this doll, but life got a little hectic and weird and I kind of fell off the map, but here I am! and I still have like 2 other box openings I'd like to post later on! ><

I saw him on Alice Collections, and I fell in love with this fullset, and since this was the last one they had I ended up getting him with a three month layaway.

He's absolutely gorgeous, but didn't really click with me in his fullset state. I'd been thinking about making him into Georik Zaberisk -- the main character of a very obscure gothic BL visual novel I loved when I was in High School, who looks very similar, and has close ties to Lucifer. I feel like I'm well past that though, and none of the concepts I'd tried designing made it far.

I've been obsessed with Mystic Messenger for a good while, and after I saw someone's beautiful 707 doll, I decided to try something inspired from that game as well xP -- I feel his chest carvings/tattoos make him too different for him to pull off a full character doll, so he is inspired from 707 and Saeran, and I think I've decided to name him Luciel -- One of 707's names lol, which again is fitting -- I was tempted to keep the name Lucifer for him.

My first look inside! was so excited lol.



This was the accessory I was most excited for, of course. I think it was molded out of the same material as the sword. So far it seems sturdy enough, thankfully!!

This is the tallest, buffest doll I've received xDxD So I was really impressed with him -- He's pretty heavy. The sword is what really suprised me though, tbh xD I'd seen it was pretty big in photos, but damn!! Also... -coughs- I didn't realize Ringdolls had posable manbits -- censored just in case lolololollololololol.



Did the surgery go well? Let's find out.

.... Better? Maybe? I love the color of the glass eyes they send, but they're way too big lol



The wig is very nice quality, and the wings stay pretty secured on his head with it on. It has a harder time with bulkier wigs.



He's absolutely stunning in person. Doubtlessly the biggest 'pretty boy' I own. I had his sitting around in just the drappy waist sash he came with for the longest time, lol. He came with some nice black brief underwear, and I would have him sitting around in just that as well, joking that he was an underwear model.

I'd honestly barely picked him up since then, but this week I was inspired to try working on him. It started with changing out those oversized eyes. I didn't think I had anything that would fit. The Mystic Messenger character I originally wanted to try modeling him after was Zen, who has white hair and red eyes. I have a ton of different red eyes for a smaller OT doll. I tried them on him and somehow those tiny 11mm eyes fit OO I didn't realize his eyes were THAT small!
I really liked the red eye, but its mate belongs to a doll with mismatched eyes, so I took a green eye -- it's mate belonging to /another/ doll LOL.I need to see if I can special order him some golden eyes.

Next, for some 707 and Saeran inspiration, I took out some of my rainbow fur, cut out some of the light orange stripes, and made him his wig to try that out, and I fell in love with the look of it. A big con to this wig though, is it's bulkiness makes it a bit harder for the headwings to stay on.

His clothes are something I whipped together pretty fast.

Doesn't he look so different?? I'm really loving his look now, and I'm excited to put together more items now! For sure I'm going to take a stab at making him some Mystic Messenger cosplays too, lol!

Thank you so much!! And I completely agree xD I even took off his wig the other day and was like, 'Huh. I could just leave him bald...' lol! It's nice after having some more difficult dolls to find the right look for, to have one that could probably look good in anything.

Oh thank you! I'm very glad xP Still feeling a little uncertain of how to go about this lol. Since he has two sources of inspiration, and I'm not sure if he should just become his own character, maybe use him as both characters or what lol! Still have some pondering to do

Oh so you're familiar with Mystic Messenger?! He's so stunning that Zen seemed like the obvious first choice lol!! I just didn't like any of the stuff I had on hand >< I might take another stab at putting a Zen look together for him later on! So many possibilities!!
