Shopping Best Portable Doll Clothes Carrier?

    1. Hello all, as the title suggests, I'm looking for a good, portable doll clothes carrier for MSDs. Ideally this could work as long term storage if at all possible? I'd love it if this could also hold tall (msd) boots as well.

      Looking for something lightweight and closable so I can ensure none of the items get lost. Is there anything out there that fits the bill and ideally is sub $100? I need this for photography and cons mostly.

      (As an aside, I need this BEFORE mid February '23. I don't mind long term waiting, but for the time being I need something that will work for me.) :lol:

    2. Do you need a soft case or hard? I use a sturdy plastic tool box that's 22" long as a carrying case for SD dolls. It's come in handy for traveling safely with several msds also. I just removed the upper tray & added a couple white towels for my purpose.
      A shorter one could easily work for carrying clothes & some emergency stringing tools plus boots & shoes. Then the upper tray they usually come with might be useful. And they're way under $100. Plus secure, dry & pest resistant. ;}

    4. You might also want to look at fishermen's tackle boxes. A friend uses one of those for her small dolls' "stuff".

      They're similar in design to toolboxes, opening from the top with a handle for easy carrying, but they also usually have a couple of divided trays inside that are intended to keep lures and flies sorted. Those are perfect for storing shoes and eyes and small props or jewelry.

    6. No worries... The first time I saw Mino pull out her big, green tacklebox to grab an outfit for one of her YoSDs. I was seriously like "Holy heck, that's *brilliant*! Why didn't I think of that?" :lol: The divided trays are just perfectly sized for doll stuff.
