Warning BeeryCherry - Banned

    1. I have a layaway arrangement with BeeryCherry but when making a payment on 29/12 was unable due to her paypal not accepting payments. I instantly messaged her but have not heard anything since, which is surprising as her responses have previously been prompt - it is the holiday season so I do hope this is just a mix up and that she is ok.
      Last time I received a message was 2/12.
       
    2. I am also in a transaction with BeeryCherry so I'll add my info to this as well. I paid for a doll on 12/20, and on 12/22 she let me know that she would try to ship that week, but it may end up being the following week. I thought this was understandable due to the holidays. I didn't hear back from her for a bit (sent messages on Dec. 29 and Jan. 2nd), and then received a message from her on Jan. 3rd. She said that she is currently having health problems and would have my doll shipped within 2 weeks. Hopefully she is recovering and can get our transactions cleared up.

    4. I hope she is okay... I'm waiting for her to ship a doll I purchased as well. I sent her the final payment in our layaway agreement on Nov. 17 and she said she was in school until December, then I messaged her again then and she replied Dec. 14th saying she still hadn't made it back home to ship and I'm still waiting to hear back but I messaged her again today.

    6. I am also in a transaction with BeeryCherry so I will add my info along with everyone else. I finished up a layaway on Dec. 29. The last I heard from BeeryCherry was on Jan. 3, in which she confirmed my final payment. The same day I asked when I should expect shipping, but have not heard back yet. I do hope things are fine and these transactions can be cleared up.

      I wait for ship my boy. I talked with BeeryCherry at 4th Jan and she had a temperature, but she said she will ship my parcel when she will be in normal condition.
      And yes, she had some troubles with PP, but now is OK with new PP adress.
      In Russia have long new year's holidays 1~10 Jan usually.
      I hope we will receive ours dolls soon.

      I also had a doll on layaway. I payed before 23 December and she told me the same day, that she will send it out into a week...
      Well, then she never ever replied anymore, untill I wrote her a new message with the title- Important. Then after a few days later she wrote finally. She claimed that she has health issues, thats very bad for her and i hope she will recover...but for me, that isn`t a reason, not to ship the doll out. It was a expensive doll and i know feel scammed about her because she always says she send it out, but I never got a message that she did send it out nor a trackingnumber etc I wrote her again today. I will wait untill tomorrow, when she don`t answer I have to contact paypal to get my money back...at least what i can get back, because it was a layaway....TToTT I am very sad right now

      I am also awaiting several items from BeeryCheery.
      I had sent her several PM to find out when she was going to ship the items. I did not hear from her for several days, which is unusual, as she always responded promptly previously.
      I did have a PM from her on Tuesday 3rd January - she explained that she had been unwell and was hoping to fulfil her shipping obligations soon, but was unable to give a specific time scale. Hopefully she is getting better and will ship all the pending items soon.
       
    10. I don't want to feel like I was scammed, she's been super pleasant to work with on the layaway... it's just the shipping issue. I'm a week short of waiting 2 months for her to ship the doll I paid her over a grand for and if I have to ask for my money back, I'm afraid I won't get it through paypal because it's been too long :\
       
    11. When did you start your layaway? I believe Paypal gives you 6 months to file a dispute/claim. My payment to her from Dec. 20th says I have until June 18th to file a dispute.
       
    12. Does anyone know how Paypal handles disputes over multiple/layaway payments? I truly hope it does not come to that, and everyone has their dolls shipped soon. But it is very discouraging to hear how long some of you have been waiting for shipping. Two months is a very long time. :( My dispute period will close in a little over two weeks, and I will be watching where this goes very closely for the next couple of days. I just really wish it won't have to come to that.
       
    13. I started my layaway July 26th... I didn't realize there were dates on there for how long it says you have to file a dispute. I guess I have until January 22nd.
       
    14. I hope it's okay to add here as well. I have a layaway going and I am not able to make payment to her, with no reply on her end yet. I hope everything will turn out okay and we all get replies.
      For more information- I started my layaway, or first payment was made on Dec. 4th, 2016. My second payment was due on Jan. 4th, 2017 and I am unable to make it due to her account not taking payments.

    22. We didn`t got any message anymore...after waiting of nearly 3-4 weeks - i opened a paypal dispute to get my money back! I am normally a friendly person , but i am so unlucky right now of the way she seems to act, that i have to make this. Anyway , i hope that you all will get your dolls and Items....or at least your money back
       
    23. Same here, no response yet. I'm getting more and more anxious about the whole situation. :( I also wonder if anyone has received dolls from her yet. I'll give it a couple more days, but then I may also start a dispute. I know things happen, but the sudden lack of communication does not sit well with me at all (on top of people waiting long periods and still no shipping). I would love to still receive the dolls, but I will not let my dispute period run out.
       
    24. I'm feeling the same... i really want the doll i paid for, but i dont want my dispute to run out in case this all goes wrong. I will give a few more days.. if she was in communication about it, it would be one thing, but no one really knows what's going on and i haven't heard back from her since mid-December

I would like to join this thread as I have also started a layaway with BeeryCherry only two months ago, and despite the communication being fine so far, I'm getting a little bit concerned as well. She was a very pleasing person to deal with so far and I would really hate to draw back from our deal, and would much rather receive my doll, but this thread is bringing up concern and I'm also starting to get nervous. I hope it goes well for us all and it turns out to be a mix of bad coincidences.

      Even if I hope that everything will be fine, I prefer to be honest : I don't think my doll will be sent.
      And if I finally receive the doll, it will be always time to send again the money.
      But asking Paypal for my money back is a precaution.
      If Paypal receive all our claims, they will see that something go really wrong with Cheeryberry...

      I too with regret, have contacted Paypal to initiate a dispute claim in order to achieve a refund.
      I did not feel comfortable filing a claim - but I also do not want to lose a vast amount of money.

    29. For those of you who are starting disputes on layaway payments: how are you doing it? Do you just dispute each payment you made separately? I've never had to dispute before, but it looks like it's heading that way.

    31. I've never made a dispute on paypal before but I went ahead and did it. I feel a bit uneasy about it because beerycherry was so great to work with in the beginning but it's been almost 2 months I've been waiting for her to ship and now tomorrow will be a week since I've pm'd her with no response and the last pm I had with her was Dec 14th with her saying she would let me know when she got home to ship.
       
    32. Yeah, i sent my final payment to her Nov. 17th and it was then she informed me she was in school away from home and wouldn't be returning until December and would ship then.... but obviously that didn't happen :(
       
    33. I opened a dispute for every payment too ! And I explained that they all were for the same item.
      I hope Beerychery is fine. Maybe she is honest, but maybe not... So I really think that we did what we had to do with Paypal.
       
    34. I wonder what will happen... on my end of things, paypal said she had until the 22nd to respond. I've never filed a dispute before so I'm not sure how it all goes down. It had said her account was unreachable or something so the dispute was escalated to a claim and they are waiting for seller to respond.
       
    35. I started my claims this afternoon as well. I think that BeeryCherry needs to respond by the 22nd, or Paypal will judge the case without her input. I got the same message about the account being unreachable as well, except for my last two payments (which were invoiced). It looks like she used two different accounts (three, total), for the last payments, and those did not bring up the unreachable notice like the original payments did. I find that very odd.
       
    36. I am considering disputing. It could just be that she is sick. But the number of dolls involved and the total lack of communication makes me nervous. Even if she had a friend come and contact it would be better.
       
    37. Well, for me.. seeing that she's spoken to others since my last communication with her about sending their stuff and never hearing back personally got me uneasy. That and the fact that it wasn't disclosed before that she was in school and away from her dolls at the beginning of the transaction. And i just feel that even if i was sick, there would be some point in it i could gather the energy to let my buyers know.

    39. I now have also opened a paypal dispute on both layaway payments, because this situation starts to appear alarming. If everything turns out to be a misunderstanding, I will re-send the money, but until then, better be safe than sorry.
       
    40. I agree. Maybe I am just being a little too hopeful... I had the same thing but am a little confused because I requested a photo of the doll with my user name and date and received it on Dec 10. But now it cannot be found or has been removed from the image host.
       
    41. That's kinda weird.. but if she knew you received it already and was satisfied, she could have deleted it. I dunno. I don't want to think the worst, but like others have said, the dispute is to be better safe than sorry since there's been no communication
       
    42. Yeah I understand that. Especially for people with layaways. It is very weird though. Since it means she was home with her dolls from Dec 10th but didn't send any before Dec 24th? She also did say that she hadn't been able to ship Heliot due to tax reasons between the confirmation of payment and loosing contact.
       
    43. Tax reasons??? Also looking back she told reitaism that she wasn't home from school yet on Dec. 14th, but she was obviously able to send you a personalized photo on the 10th. Uhhhh... this just keeps getting sketchier.

      I filed a dispute yesterday, but I think I'm going to elevate it to a claim and let Paypal decide after seeing everything here. I'm so disappointed, but I've pretty much lost hope of receiving this doll. :(
       
    44. See-- that makes me suspicious too that on the 10th she had the photo for proof but the 14th she told me she wasn't home yet. Tho I'm sure she could have had someone back home take the photo if that was really the case. And not able to ship because of tax reasons? Just sounds like too many things going on...

    47. I went through and checked my conversation with her carefully and there was no mention at all of her being away from the dolls. Even though it was finalised on Dec 10th (payment and address + phone for ems confirmed). The next contact I received was on the 22nd after I promoted her about news. Which is when I received the information that she needed to do an invoice.

    49. I still want to think that there's been a legitimate issue on her side. But I am a little nervous. I paid in full and since it was around holidays I did figure things might be hectic. But the last reponse we have is the 24th and some things are not adding up. She never mentioned being away from home to me, even though she said to you on the 14th she was. She never mentioned being sick to me, which again was said to someone else? And I appear to be the only one who she had to juggle money to get an invoice from?

      If it weren't for this thread and seeing how many other people had come forward I probably would have been patient and waited the two weeks. However 12 (pretty sure I counted that many) people coming forward with issues is just too much for my comfort. If she shows up and sends us our dolls then that would be amazing! I would probably cry tears of happiness! But I feel more comfortable letting Paypal resolve this now.

    55. This person is scamming people on Facebook as well. Here is everything I have on her. All responses stop after payment. If you have another paypal you paid to, please let me know. At this time she has used 3 known different paypal accounts.

      I paid for a piece in a split on 12/22 for Lucywen's horn, last response to her to me was 12/24. I know of 3 other people with open claims from Facebook. I escalated my claim yesterday due to the fact she would stop responding after the full payments were received.

      My friend Ally also was scammed by this same user and has already received her money back. She bought the Soon Amber from her.
