I want so bad to put a beauty mark on my doll Yumi I would be using a fine point Gundam pen..but it's permanent. Just a touch of the pin would do it but don't wanna get it wrong.. any advice of anything else I could use that would come off easy with a magic eraser?
It's not a beauty mark, but I did a constellation tattoo on one of my dolls' shoulder, so also putting dots in strategic locations. Basically, I put on a couple layers of sealant, used a fine tip brush to dot on acrylic paint, and sealed again. If you want the beauty mark on the face, you could do it as part of the faceup; if the doll already has a faceup, it should already be sealed! So you might be able to get away with only doing the dot of paint and then sealing again to protect the beauty mark.
I do beauty marks often on my dolls as part of the faceup. If you wanted to do one that isn't permanent, maybe use a watercolor pencil (even getting a brush wet and dragging it along the pencil to use as "paint" if you'd like). That should wash off if you change your mind about it. I'm not familiar with Gundam pens, but a quick google search came up that they're alcohol based. If you use that on an existing faceup, it will eat through the sealant. I learned that one the hard way!
Ohhhh thanks I didn't know they was alcohol base..but a Gundam pen is a fine marker like fine as a needle u use on Gundam models for the panel lines ..but thanks for the advice
