It worked for me too - she is so cute. These photos are much better than the ones at Doll Peddler. Wish I could help with the clothes and shoe size question. I wonder if the clothes for the 13" Effner dolls would fit or maybe ones that fit Dollmore Narsha

My mango hybrid got new clothes and she recently went ginger as well. She looks like one of my big boy's siblings now xD

Reporting in with another hybrid option!

I put my Mango head on a Dollzone B27-005 body. This is a male body as the female body's neck is too small. My doll is a girl, however, so I will be sanding off the peen soon. Also this body is their NSP so it has a slight pinky tone. I got it secondhand and it has mellowed a bit but still has that pink tone irl. In pictures I can't really tell the difference, however. Lastly, there is a neck gap on this hybrid but I'm going to try adding a kip to help keep the head more secure.

Those are nice hands, I agree. You did a good job with your hybrid, @Cap'n . I'm sure you will have that little resin tic-tac off in no time! Just a bit of sanding and no one will ever know!

how tall is this body? is it much bigger then the baby body she would come on from dollsbe?

 

I'm actually not quite sure how she would compare. I have my Dollsbe head on a Pipos body and she's about the size of a Littlefee. I have a photo of that body compared to the Dollzone body if you'd like to see that but I don't have an actual Dollsbe body. On the Dollzone she was around 29cm and on the Pipos she's around 26cm.

 

So much for my little tomboy. I put Mari in a dress and she's gonna stay like this for a bit.
Also new wig! I want to braid it but I'm bad at that.

 

thank you that helps alot! i have a saintbloom girl and i was just trying to see what the height difference would be. i loved the look of that dollzone body. but it might be to big seance the saintbloom body is also 29cm tall and with my hybrid head about 33cm. but i want her to be smaller like a littlefee or pukifee if i get a dollsbe Garlic!

 

i love her! can i ask how tall the pipos PO-11 body is? and what size the neck needs to be to fight? im haveing a hard time finding a body for a Garlic head im looking at buying! haveing the neck size i think would be so helpful!

 

Neck is 6cm, overall height is about 25-26cm (with head). She's pretty much the same size as a Littlefee. I'm not sure if the male pipos bodies are the same, however.

 

If you go to the Pipos site and select their "Pipos Manual" button on the left, on page 3 you will find a "compare PO-11 type" post. That will show you most of the various types of bodies they've had available...it's missing the Dorothy body with the upper chest joint but no lower torso joint. Personally, I prefer the 3-part body from their original release. Luckily, the boy bodies still have that.

Be with you is having a sale/ordering period until January 22. Purchases can earn additional parts or dolls. I'm debating on adding a cabbage or welsh onion to my Cantaloupe I ordered 2 days ago.

 

I keep getting the weird "zip code is inconsistent" message, so I sent my order info to YG. Hopefully it goes through. Fingers crossed!

 

Do they have an English site now?

 

They do somewhat, but a lot of the buttons you have to press are in Korean characters, so I still had to use a translator program. It's not the first time I've had this zip code issue, I don't think their cart system likes US zip codes.

I messaged YG as well! For the zip code you have to click the button to the right of where you would enter your zip then it takes you to a mini search window. There you have to enter “oversea” to go through. I tried for 3 days before messaging him on Instagram.

 

Yep, tried that, but even entering the "oversea" and the zeros, I kept getting the error message. I sent him an email like I did the last time, I have to do that to order from Harucasting as well, so no biggie.

 

I’m debating adding a second resin kid to my order! Does anyone have a Lemon or Ping gau? I’m in love with the 28-35cm sized resin kids.

 

I was able to order through DM with him (and had a nice catch-up convo as well) so now I'm waiting for some dollies, yay!

 

I tried ordering through the site and after all that he had no idea that I had placed an order. He must have been checking for your paypal payment when he saw mine as well!

 

Yes, I had to order through him directly the last time I ordered as well, the website order process just doesn't seem to work for me. I'm glad that he's willing to take orders outside that process, and that you were able to get your order confirmed. Now we wait!

Did you order your second kiddo?

 

I caved lol. I am now waiting on a Cantaloupe and a Blue berry. I'm hunting for somewhere to find 35cm outfits. I love my tall yo's but finding ready made modern boys clothing is kicking my tail.

 

I'm waiting on a 28cm Cabbage, and 25cm Beet and Shiitake (plus a body for my poor Paprika head that he gave me way back at the KoreaBJD show). Most of my BWY kids are 25cm, Cabbage will be my first 28 from him. I have a PKF size MilkTea kiddo, and I would be more tempted by the 11cm kiddo heads if there was a body for them.

Are the 35cm kids the same width as KID/Narsha? You may find some boy outfits if you search on those dolls.

 

Doll Family-H has some 35cm dolls now and they started with a boy! Also there are a number of similar sized dolls in the vinyl world.

 

I just got the Dfh body it’s for a little Junior head This will be my first 35cm from BWY. The DFH is very slim, more like the minoru world bodies. I can’t wait to see them in person! I will have a small herd of 30-37 cm boys by the end of the year.

 

I have three, Chibi Unoa, Narsha, and KID. VERY different body styles. Of the three, KID may be the closest, but I don't see measurements.

 

Hey, @Leeza~Kat, this is off-topic but I could use your advice! I bought a KID head on a whim and I need a body for her. I was seriously considering the DFH one, but with hybrids it's always a roll of the dice. Do you think it would work? My head is normal pink but I can dye her to match.

I guess to bring this in topic, I'll ask if you think the BWY body would work better? I think she's going to be a fairy, so the slimmer body works for me. Do you know where I can find pictures of the new body?

 

I would love to be able to show you comparisons. Can you wait for photos for a bit? I have a Myou, Doll family H & the incoming BWY that I can show you.

I just received a potato head that I bought off Instagram and tried putting it on my spare CH little Junior body but the neck was way too big. So s/he(?) stole the DFH 1/5 body and I am really impressed with the results. I will try to upload a pic but I haven’t been able to. I might have to link you to my Instagram.

 

Hopefully today I can share photos! My BWY kids have arrived! I may even do a comparison with my other yo’s. I have the 28cm body, the 35cm body, the MYou 30, 5*Doll 28cm, Littlefee & CH Little Junior; let me know what people would like to see.

 

Congrats! I'm not expecting mine until next month, I have three coming and they all have face-ups. I look forward to seeing your kiddos!

The full boys are based off characters I'm working on, the gift head is stinking cute and now needs her own freaking body Anyone else falling in love with the latest sculpt YG shared on his Instagram? I'm doomed! 85% of my resin horde are based off of world mythologies/deities/monster types.

 

Yeah, that's how it starts...my Paprika hs waited a long time, poor floating head girlie.

Turnip is adorable, I can't wait to see how she progresses.

 

What are everyone's favorite sculpts? If they all were still available which ones would you get?

 

I love all my BWY kiddos, but my AmonD boy Mace is my favorite. I know many folks who would buy him if he were available.

For me personally, I wish he'd made a body for the Cherry Tomato heads, I love the head sculpts.

 

Mango has to be my favorite because my Mari is a Mango (head only, body is Pipos). Haven't shared her here in a while.


For sculpts I don't have though, I've always loved the slighty grumpy Garlic.

 

YG is sending my kiddos on Monday! Yay!

 

I went to look at the new Spring sculpts as was interested in the kitty head but got completely distracted by the Avocado head. There's something incredibly infectious about that cheesy 'ehhheh!' grin. I'm honestly tempted because it makes me smile and laugh when I see it

 

Carrot was my first YoSD-size doll and got me hooked on smaller and smaller sizes.

All the new sculpts are cute, I love the variety of expressions but I’m still waiting on turnip. I don’t have any be with you dolls yet and I was tempted to buy paprika or pineapple but I’m looking for a smaller yosd.

Has anyone got Avocado? It's a new Spring sculpt as of 2022 but there's only the grey in process photos on the site still. I'm so charmed and would love to see collector photos
