Barbies and other similiarily sized dolls

    1. I am trying to track down a bunch of barbies for a cosplay, and hope that my lovely friends at DOA could help me find a good place to buy them online.
      Thankfully, I will be using them as apart of a cosplay (Beauvoir from Nier automata) and the standard 13 in tall doll is fine. They don't have to be in incredibly good condition because I will be cutting their hair off, plugging their holes, sanding off their molded underlings, and painting them when it's all said and done!

      I have checked on ebay, and most of the ones i fine are.. headless? or the artist has redone the face-up. Which is lovely, but i just need a banged up cheap hand-me-down with at least all limbs and head :whee:

      I need quite a bit, and the cheapest I can buy them BRAND NEW is 5.99 at a big chain store. I would love to use used ones to help not be wasteful.

    2. If you have a Goodwill store or something similar, they often have have of barbie-ish sorts of dolls in bags. I've seen like 7 or 8 bundled in a bag for just a few dollars

    3. I know you can normally find them at thrift stores, but unfortunately that isn't an option for me. Unless they have an online counterpart too!

    4. So, I just poked around a little and found there is a shopgoodwill.com fun out of california, I looked up "Barbie lot" and there were some options, but I'm not sure what their shipping is. Also, try "Barbie lot" on eBay, and there's an assortment of listings. I'd forgotten about online, I remember a repainted mentioning it. Good luck with the hunt and the project!

    6. Absolutely what comes for ebay, search for "Barbie doll lot"! I've seen very cheap bunches available in that way. More or less in their original condition without repainting.
