A sweet and charming little girl. Elfrida is sometimes prone to tantrum; this is mostly due to the loss of her mother. She deeply loves her Father and likes nothing more than to do things together. She can be a bit of a trouble maker sometimes but she does get along well with people she likes.

Elfrida was born in Germany to Addy and Kaori. The family moved to Kaori's native land of Japan when Elfrida was 3 (thankfully she has her father's preternatural ability for quickly mastering a language). When Elfrida was 4 her mother died in a car accident. She became withdrawn and would not speak, her father left her in the care of her grandparents and returned to Germany to collect himself. Now that Addy is in Canada he has finally sent for Elfrida to come home to him.

Commentary: This Kumi is a version 2, with the ears (human) that stick out. Her seams are so rough one could get a papercut by picking her up too quickly. I think she's charming anyway, and I'm very happy with her. Maybe some day I'll sand her down. Her face up is by Zingor.

Commentary: I bought this Kumi on eBay. She was so pretty and the seller was in the US (lower shipping rates than EMS from Asia...), and, well, I really wanted her. She is lovely and very different than my other Kumi, I don't mind at all that they are the same head mold I never get them confused.

Commentary: I bought Vin from the same eBay seller that I bought Kumi Viya. She was selling several different BJD's, but these are the two that appealed to me.

Vin started life at a boy. I kept him as a boy for a while when he first arrived, but I looked at him one day and decided to try him a girl instead, and I've been very happy with her as girl ever since. Because Bambicrony BJD's have asexual bodies, changing gender is as easy as changing a wig and outfit.

PS: Vin is currently trying life as a boy once again, because I have so many girl tinies and only a few boys.

Commentary: A tan Roko! I love Bambicronies, I didn't have Roko yet, I didn't have a tan skin Bambi yet, and I only collect the human ones. In other words, when this came up for sale on DoA she was a Slam Dunk for me. I didn't hesitate to purchase her. And am I glad I did. She has been so much fun for me because she is different than the other tiny kids and I LOVE her tan color! In my opinion it's a prettier color than the tan skin that Bambicrony is now making. Lighter and much more golden --so easy to photograph and the face up is still easily visible.

Commentary: If you've been reading all these commentaries, you know by now that I love Bambicronies. I didn't have Kiera yet, so I decided to order Kiera with the new darker tan skin that I didn't have yet, and with the Version 2 body, which I didn't have yet. I'm not really sure that I love her yet, her color is so dark that you have to hold her up to the light to see her declicate face up. Her slender body makes her seem even younger than the other Bambicrony kids, so I'm not sure that she will fit in and become one of the family. She is still on probation here.

But she does have her positive points here, too, and her charm is growing on me.
