Accessories Bags, baskets, suitcases, shoes, toys

Apr 10, 2019

    1. People who have long been passionate about dolls know that dolls constantly need something)) Eyes, wigs, clothes - by itself! Furniture is good. But besides all this, you need a lot of things. For example, the right time to travel to the sea (oh, it is always suitable!)) - how to go there without a suitcase? In this post I want to show what I do for my dolls, except for furniture. And I’m happy to see what you do for dolls and how?

    2. Those are beautiful and look very well crafted.

    3. They look amazing. I for one have been in hobby for over 12 years and I started with giving my dolls the moon and the sun, but have found for most part most only need the basics. The wig, eyes that truly make them, them. Clothes and shoes to keep them decent and if a child a couple fuzzy friends in either toys or pets. But when it starts to take space and collect dust it's time to rethink what do they really need.

I wish I had photos of all the stuff I had in the beginning to show what I am working on now, but let's just say the difference would be the difference between a hoarder and Marie Kondo.

    4. rosalynmouse,
Thank you very much. I really like to do something for dolls with my own hands. And, as it turned out, for dolls of all formats, except 1:1)))
      animemom,
You made me remember when I started doing different things for dolls)) I started about 10 years ago. And I started right away with the furniture, the rest came later. It’s really interesting for me who came to this and how.

    5. These are so cute! How funny, just the other day I noticed our local diner has these great 1/3 scale baskets to keep their sugar packets in...I instantly thought about my doll, of course. Clearly I need to get her a basket soon!

    6. Those are all really beautiful! I have a life-long fascination with baskets, suitcases, and specialized containers of all kinds, and these make me smile.

When I got my first BJD, I made her a suitcase out of a lidded plastic gift box and some leftover twill fabric and suede. It's still around here somewhere -- but the lining has started to pull away from the plastic base, and I need to re-work it. It's definitely not as pretty as these!

    7. Really like these and add to the out fit for a doll I am a bit of a handbag collector in real life

    8. Do you often use something from the world of people for your dolls? I have always admired people who know how to adapt something from the big world to a small one))
It's always easier for me to make a new one myself than to find something and give it a chance for dolls))
Oh, thank you very much! I am very interested to see what you did! Show us!)) Of course, we are girls, we always like all sorts of handbags and suitcases, baskets and clutches, and the more - the better!)) Ah! And more shoes !!!))
Cool! Then here you will see a lot of handbags!))
      I promise!

Today I will show a picnic basket 1/8) A bit of photospam on your day)

If you are interested, ask, I will gladly tell you what it is made of. And I can show you my little tutorial))

    9. What about shoes?
Have you ever had such an urgent need for shoes to wear?
At such moments I try to do it myself!))
      This is what happens:

    10. Those shoes are fantastic. Well done. How on earth did you do that?

    11. HelenNz,
Thank you. I made silicone molds from the legs of the doll. Then, pads and insoles, pattern for the upper part of the shoe. Sewn the top on a sewing machine, a sock made of genuine leather.

    12. If I bring a doll to a convention, I like to give them a suitcase and pack it with their stuff. And I also plan their outfits for the trip :XD:
