Due to how expensive specially made 75cm clothes are, I was wondering what size baby clothes might fit a 75cm boy (think Idealian 75 or The Voice proportions.). I've heard some baby or toddler clothes can fit big dolls but haven't found many specifics about which size range is best! I'm sure it depends in part on the brand and style of clothing but if anyone can share their experience that'd be very helpful.
I think your best bet is going to a store and just have a look at the baby clothing, sizing probably varies from brand to brand but I reckon the stuff for the littlest ones would be your best bet.
I recommend NB or Premature clothing! They'll need to be hemmed but good will and second hand stores make it really affordable.
So as a side to what works for the biggest boys. I have a Granado doll Titan, they are huge, and I have found some items from Build-a-Bear can fit them. I have a pair of BaB boxers on mine that I sewed the tail hole shut on and they fit perfectly.
Go for as small a size as you can (newborn or premature sizes) - I have an 80cm Lusion, and find a lot of baby clothes are too wide and too short for that body (I have more luck with vintage and antique ones that tend to be longer, so the narrower sizes for smaller babies don't come up too short). Children's clothes won't really work without alterations. Maybe shirts if they're okay to look baggy. I only heard they'd fit the titan haha. But normal 75cm dolls won't fit kids clothing because they have very very different proportions.
Storm For what it's worth, there's a fair number of clothes that are easy to alter. The above is a picture of a 70cm hoodie being worn by a 65cm doll. I just took in the sleeves and the sides, and the whole thing took less than half an hour. It would be harder with thicker material or a pattern that wouldn't match at the side seam.
I've purchased infant clothing for my 70-75cm dolls, mostly cardigans, sweaters, & hoodies. I have them on a Yc77 body and my IOS 80 body. 0-3m fits best on the torso but the arms are a little short. 3-6m works best for things like hoodies and sweaters--- the arms are just right and have a good oversized look to them.
