Hybrids Ausley Love hybrid?

Oct 29, 2023

    1. Hello all, I'm looking for a little help with my plans :)
After a long time away from the hobby, I decided to finally find a body for my Dollshe Ausley Love head. Since I wanted a curvy one, I'm thinking about getting the Souldoll body. Height-wise I'd like the new Vito girl body, but I'm not sure if the head isn't too big for it and thus, if the Zenith body wouldn't be better.

If anyone has DS Ausley (or Amanda/Erica) and either of the Souldoll bodies at home and could try the head on, I'd be very grateful :)

    2. @Erizu, I have a Souldoll Zenith body and a DS Ausley head; give me a few days to put them together and take photos. :sweat

    3. Thank you <3

    4. @Erizu, Here are my photos of Dollshe Ausley Love head on a Zenith girl body. My Ausley is the old original Ausley, and my Souldoll Agnetha is on the older style of Zenith body. I don't know if Dollshe made any changes to Ausley's head, and if the newer Zenith bodies are different. I thought I should let you know that from the start.

First photo is Ausley on her own body, standing next to Souldoll Agnetha. At first glance they look similar in overall proportions --

I'd say that generally, it's do-able to put Ausley Love head on a Zenith body. However, you can see that the Ausley head's neck hole is bigger, and sits low on the Zenith neck, with some gapping. Ausley's neck is 9.5cm/3.75in around; the Zenith neck is 9cm/3.5in around. If you don't mind Ausley having a shorter neck, it can work; after all, people in real life have short necks!

After this test, it makes me wonder if the Soudoll Vito body wouldn't work; it's bound to have a smaller neck, and Ausley's facial proportions are better suited to a tall body. Just my opinion ;)

    5. @beamlette Thank you so much for all of that!
I have an older Ausley too, from one of the first batches, so that should be similar.
And yeah, I think the Vito won't work. I noticed the weirdly big neck circumference of the Dollshe body, contrasted with the small face of the Ausley head - that was one of the reasons I struggled so much with finding the body and put it away for so long - some were too small and some (Iplehouse, for example) looked ridiculously big with head. Combined with me wanting a more curvy body, it seemed impossible :sorry
When looking at the photos, I think the Zenith body is a possiblity with a right wig. Once again thank you <3

    6. @Erizu, you're very welcome! :)
