it was a fun year!! Glad DoA is still around and just as full of life as ever!

I've sure had fun running the creative gauntlet in the Wicked Sweet Triathalon. I know a lot of members look forward to the yearly events and now I can be counted among them.

This was an amazing set of events. Some fun, some extremely challenging, and so many people rose to the challenge!

So much fun was had by all! Even by those of us who participated mostly by watching and laughing our butts off (or, maybe not off, darn it).

Some of the entries in the various contests were just breathtaking. It's boggling how much talent there is around here -- and here's where you point people the next time someone asks "but what do you DO with them?" Amazing things, is what.

I think the mods deserve an extra heaping helping of marshmallows, just for keeping it all going in the midst of forum glitches, big cleanups and organizational changes, natural disasters, and what have you -- all of which waited up until JUST the time things were bound to be most hectic in the celebration front and attacked at once.

And huge hugs to Truffle and Farinelli who once more made it adorable

This was my first anniversary celebration on DoA, and it was a blast! I really enjoyed seeing all of the different entries in the variety of events and contests. This year's anniversary was the first time I was actually able to participate and I had such a great time! Everyone is so talented and I love how alive this community is. This is my first year on DOA and, obviously, my first year participating. What a fun event. Thank you, DOA, and congratulations to everyone who won!

 

As usual, I'm completely blown away by the talent of some of the folks we have here on DoA! It's so nice they have this opportunity to strut their stuff for our admiration every year. There are lots of fun and goofy things for us less-gifted members to enjoy, and voting is a way to participate, too!

I'm really sad that everything is over! It's been great to see everyone's creations in so many different mediums, and the theme this year was really challenging and awesome ^____^ THANK YOU to all the staff, prize donators and Luts for another wonderful event~ I can't wait to participate next year too (I hope to be able to take part in the triathalon too! Damn my sister arranging her wedding the same time as DoA's Anniversary )
