Discussion August 26: What Sculpt Do You Swear Looks Like You?

I picked a Studio Another Secret Mister Rabbit as my mini me.
Here's the sculpt:

It's mainly the faceshape and the mouth that are similar, but I will be modding the nose and maybe opening the eyes a bit as well.
I can't actually physically close my mouth without too much effort, so it seemed most suited xD
I picked a Supia body for her, because it comes closest to my physique. It's long and a bit dangly. And the chest is very similar to mine :B

When I had her, people used to tell me I looked like an Angel Region Little Genie Lilica.

I don't see it much, but I think it's because I'm usually mouth breathing due to sinus issues.

Blessedly, there are no dolls that look like me. (I hope!) I'm closer to the Demon Geriatric LE sketch over in the other thread

 

My fiance and my closest friends told me that I like this doll -- her name is Milk (Supia Rosy) but I do not have the same body figure as her though. ^^;

This anniversary stuff is proving to be a strain on my wallet... that Truffle doll is amazingly cute! Congrats, Truffle!!

 

I probably look like a lot of dolls. In fact, I have a pic where I could be mistaken for a doll or a figure (thought that's not this one). After a little bit of a search though I think I probably look an awful lot like a Iplehouse Juvenile Tatiana (really very close). That is as long as you don't chose the glamour bust, lol. As a close second I would probably say a Fairyland Minifee Miyu (though my eyes are wider than that). There's probably a lot more of them out there. I'm older than I look though, these girls were all meant to be younger than me (I'm 23 at this point, 24 in November). Doesn't look like it, does it?

Me and Raurencio Stella :'D My head isn't actually that fat >__< and my hair is naturally frizzy like stella's lol I had been all made up for my school prom here xD

 

In my heart, I look like an El. I'd include pictures but the similarity is hidden under my stealth Hot Pocket blubba layer so I don't overwhelm people with the gloriousness of a large-as-life El.

 

I so need to ask permission of my friend (to post her picture), but she looks so much like Domuya Levi.

 

Two.S.Doll's Jessica is similar... closest I could find, anyway. She's got a pretty close jawline and mouth shape, and from certain angles her nose is almost the same. And her default faceup has her with eyebrows pretty similar to mine, too ^^

Naripon Toadstool - usually when I realise Soom has another MD out or an SO that I need and my wallet is empty XD....

 

I have not found any, that looks like me, (never searched) but one that is called like me.
The one I found, was for sale on the MP and even had my same style of clothes. I thought it was funny.

I think that recently as I've lost a little bit of weight, my resemblance to Soom's Cass is becoming more and more apparent. We both have the same slightly stubborn chin (However, mine is usually set out quite a ways in petulant disagreement) and slightly wide features.

Also, we've got the same sort of eyes - large, but still in proportion to the rest of our features, and slightly doe-eyed.

Really, all she needs is a smattering of freckles and almost-black eyes. And maybe red hair, though who on Earth would willingly be ginger? Much like my resin friend, I have to hide from the sun!

 

I probibly look the most like the domadoll Okja but i am sporting the soom Namu nose. *laugh* Of my own personal dolls I probibly look the most like my LTF Pipi Ryo Its the super dark eyes always looking up with questions. (I get confused alot)

 

I think I actually look a little bit like this Iplehouse Carina. I just manipulated the photos to give my eyes the same shade of blue that she has. What does everyone else think? Doll belongs to: XxBrittox

I think I may be flattering myself, but I looked a bit like Volks Tinatsu when I was a little girl. About the nose, I think... My husband took one look at her and said, 'Hey! It's little you!'

This is not the best comparison picture - for some reason my nose doesn't look as turned-up as it usually is in most of my little girl pictures, but you can hopefully get the idea...

 

I think Unidoll Ark is a fair representation of me when I first wake up in the morning.

Dollstown Estella looks like me when I'm sad/pensive . . . it's hard to find a photo where I'm not smiling, but trust me, I've got the lower lip thing DOWN.

Lorelei, my former DT Estella/HyperManiac hybrid (I'm still sorry I sold her -- at the time, you couldn't get DT bodies for love or money, and it was hard to find a body that worked with her head back in 2006 -- now, I'd like to try her on an IpleHouse EID body!)

This is RE-main's Re-che doll. I think Re-Che looks JUST like me, wow; just add glasses, darken the eyebrows, and shorter, darker hair....viola!

I tried to find good scult, and I knew it's going to be a boy, beccause my jawline and nose. Anlheim's juniorhem Kyle was closest match I found, there might be better match out there.

I don't know what BJD I look like. I can't imagine myself ever wanting to own a lookalike.

But sometimes I look at Serenity, and I think we lookalike. Especially our noses and mouths.

So I guess I don't have an intelligent response after all! Oops!

 

I'm the exact opposite, I've wanted a doll that looks like me since I got in the hobby, haha. The doll I think looks most like me is Angelsdoll Hyang. There was something about her I liked when she was first released but I soon forgot about her until I started seeing her arrival pictures on here in the Box Openings and I was like, "Hey, she looks like me!" We share the same chinny kind of face, small mouth and pained expression of knowing too many stupid people. Also, I have wide shoulders and there are NO other female dolls out there that I know of with linebacker shoulders. She's been at the top of my wishlist ever since.

What few pictures I have of myself are of me attempting to smile and I like owner's pictures of her better (and don't want to take anyone's personal photos) but if this thread is still open in December or January or whenever my own Hyang shows up I'll make sure to take pictures of the both of us. Hopefully matching

There isn't a doll that looks like me, but Iplehouse came fairly close to my nose and general facial shape with Benny. It'd be nice to see one that did look a bit more like me, (I want a minimee girl one of these days, but DIM doesn't do brown resin.)

There's quite a few dolls that look like people I know, but none that I've found yet that resemble me U_U

A little girl I babysat has the exact same face as a Doll Chateau Bella, it's really very strange.
My best friend, in my opinion, look a lot like a Volks Kun.
There's a girl in my dance class who reminds me of an Iplehouse Tania...

 

Some of my friends, and even my mother, have told me I look like one of the enchanted dolls, Cinderella.
It makes me feel flattered though because I truly love that doll.

I haven't found any dolls that look like me as of yet anyway. I am however, Very impressed with some of the look a likes on here. Its amazing how much like some of the dolls a lot of you are. I am really excited to go on a mission to find a doll that looks like me now.
