Sentimentality August 18: Thank Another Member Day!

    1. Just as it's important to thank the people who help out with the big things, it's also good to thank the people who help you out with the small things. Like the person who PMed you to give you that really specific measurement. Or someone who gave you a ride to a meetup that otherwise you wouldn't have been able to make. Or someone you don't really know, but they left you a really sweet comment on a Gallery thread.

      Take a few minutes and PM members who have helped you out on the forum. Members who are now your friends, or members who only touched your life for a moment--it's good to remember that as a community, we're only as strong as the connections we form with one another.

      I'll even lick my brother today to make him feel happy. :aheartbea

    4. What a wonderful idea this is!:) I've met and interacted with so many wonderful people on DoA who have touched my heart and creativity in one way or another. I can think of a couple specifically without whom I would never have been inspired to create some of the dolls I have. I'm off to PM them right now!

    5. Thank you all, so much! I've gotten so much helpful information from old and new members, and had people arrange lovely swaps and group orders and splits and meetups. It's been wonderful!

    9. I would love to thank all the guys and gals on the PukiFee discussion threads. When I went MIA in February due to earthquakes, it was amazing to come back to a series of posts of 'Has anyone heard from misscarrion?' 'does anyone have her RL name so we can check the search page'. It was absolutely wonderful to know so many people were worried!
