For more that a year I'd been thinking I wanted a mouseling, but I never got myself one because other dolls were limited quantity or had a special deal and because sewing for their very differently shaped body scared me a bit. Well, now Atelier Murinae had a special winter event. That I was getting more and more antsy that they might run out of stock and I would miss the chance to own one all together. So, pictures: Securely packed box in a box. Obligatory cat and box picture, Oskar loves sticking his nose in other peoples buisness. Box full of goodies. The mouseling came in a sturdy black box, wrapped in a travelling cushion that in turn was wrapped in bubble wrap to keep it from bouncing around. The artist added some extras because she was out of the country when I placed my order and she felt bad for making me wait. So sweet of her! My little mouse came with a dress and bloomer set, two tiny teacups and some nice stickers. Here's the bubble wrap. And Oskar, who still thinks the package might contain something for him. Opening the travel cushion. Oh my, she is adorable! And look at those little flexible footsies. Hello! I'm your new favourite mouse! Let's see how she stands. Oh no, Oskar! That mouse isn't for you! She is very sturdy though, it was a bit of a hassle to get her into position but once she stands she keeps her pose. Even with a cat nuzzling her. Little mouse with her clothes and goodies. I can't wait to take her out for photoshoots.
I've seen pictures of mouselings actually standing on their toes. I haven't tried it yet but it's certainly a nice touch. It really adds to the whole realistic rat/mouse feeling.
Oh my goodness! She's adorable I love when dolls come with extras like stickers, paper dolls, and accessories, and I love tea, so she's just perfect
Oh my goodness I never knew this existed! I adore mice! I want one so much. Your mouse is adorable!!!
She is SO cute! And of course Oskar would be interested in a little mouse... even if she doesn't smell quite like something for a cat.
