He joined the war to save the orchards in which he grew up. Orchards that had sustained his family for generations. Orchards that would be there for him when the war was won.

He'd accepted the replacement parts willingly as they became necessary. There was still a war to win. Surely the personal costs of such changes were worth the time saved waiting for his body to heal. As long as his heart and his mind were still human everything would be ok.

But now with the "hunger" that comes from his power cells running low and the supply lines far away this random apple he's found has triggered some doubts. It occurs to him the orchards he's fought to save can no longer save him. Was there really no time to heal?

Thanks to you too. I can't take credit for any mods other than some sueding and wiring to help the doll hold poses better though. It's an unmodified Soul Doll Souloid. I agree they are cool. As to the power from the apples, I guess they could try making a giant "potato clock" from them.
