20–39cm Dolls Asleep Eidolon Cordelia (27cm) SP

Apr 24, 2023

    1. Hello!! I could've waited until I got all her clothes/wig so that I could do a proper look at her all dressed up, but I don't think any of it will arrive for another week or two at the earliest! Although she wasn't the first doll I ordered, Asleep Eidolon's Cordelia is the first that's come home because she was in stock at Legend Doll! :XD: She's in normal skin, and has the special half-sleeping face.

AE's box is so cute! I love the foil sparkles.

And I forgot to take a picture of it while it was still neatly in the box, but Legend Doll included some extra goodies like additional eyes! I don't think I'll be using them though since the regular 6mm eyes don't show much/any white at all on her.

A look at the seal on the back of her head, I think the pink is really cute. There's engraved writing on the inside of her head and the fairy logo on the back of the head cap as well.

She can hold her leg positions and arm positions well, and she can stand by herself. (Edited since I tested and she does stay up pretty securely on a stable/flat surface!) You can put her in a variety of sitting positions or laying down, though her feet won't point much further down without snapping back. She has a two-part torso so she can slouch or lean back a bit as well, which is nice. Her head doesn't lean back, really, but she can look down and hold the position.

She comes with an additional pair of feet, which are smaller than the default ones (about 2cm vs the default feet's 2.8cm), which is useful since that means she'll be able to fit into a variety of Blythe shoes!

I put a SD13 blouse that arrived at the same time on her and secured it with a ribbon so that she didn't look too much like she was drowning in the fabric, LOL.

(Excuse all the wig caps in the background, I just thought this pose was cute!)

Overall I'm very pleased with her and I'm glad she came first so that I have time to play around with this smaller scale before my bigger girls arrive! She's a very sweet mature-ish mini. I'll definitely be taking a lot of pictures once all her clothes and wigs arrive.:XD:

    2. She's so cute! Thank you for sharing!
Quick question - are her knees single or double jointed?

    3. Thank you, and no problem!
I believe her knees are double jointed! (Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm still getting used to trying to identify these on my own.)[IMG]

    4. Congratulations on your new arrival! She's so cute--that default faceup is adorable! I have 2 dolls on that body, and it's really nice! (She should stand pretty well on her own, too, actually! Just FYI.) I hope you have lots of fun with your tiny girl. ♥

    5. Thanks so much! I agree, the body's really nice. I tried standing her again and she does stay up pretty securely, it must've been the surface I was testing her out on initially that made her unstable. I have a question since you know what the body's like: are the thigh joints just for show or subtle movement? I tried to make the body sit upright on the ground with one leg bent upwards, but the thigh joint doesn't bend much to allow the sitting position to lock in.

    6. I think it has more functionality in terms of rotation, they don't work well/at all for poses like what I think you're trying to achieve. There's no locks or anything so the elastic tension just pulls the piece back into place if you try and pull it out. You could possibly fix that with some sueding? But I've personally never tried. It's great though for, say, arranging her so she sits with her legs folded to one side or something.

    7. Oooh, okay! Thank you! I'm not very confident in the idea of sueding, but I was just testing her poseability and noticed that so I wanted to ask and see if I was just doing something wrong. :] I'm glad it helps with rotation, though! I did notice it was really easy to have her sit with her legs to the side.

    10. @Yakutie She really is, I'm looking forward to when all her stuff arrives so I can fully dress her up!

@lullanix :XD: Thank you! I love it, it's a completely different vibe than the fully awake Cordelia.
