I haven't been here on DOA in years, but I'm just getting back into bjds. Here's my Aure. She's called Snow White.

 

Just a quick heads up! When I put my two AE dolls in a box together I noticed that the resin colour was different.

The new 2022 doll is on viewers left and the resin looks pinker than the older 2020 doll on the right. The dolls are both normal (normal pink). I've added in a 2022 Xaga hand, the normal resin is close to the old AE colour but is a bit lighter. So worth knowing if anyone is looking to mix and match parts.

 

Does anyone one know what size shoes fit our dolls? I'm looking for boots for my Snow White doll.

 

Does anyone have a resin comparison of Asleep Eidolon's new white resin and Volks white? Or just any AE and Volks resin comparisons? I would really appreciate it

 

@maiyufi I could compare normal skin tones tomorrow (not enough light left today). I don't have white skin from either.

Did anyone get a rerelease of one of the fruit sisters (Blueberry, lemon, cherry, etc.), Blueberry specifically but any will do. I know that they updated the sculpts, so I wanted to ask some questions if anyone got them

 

I don't know anything about rereleases, I'm just posting because I took some very cute pictures of Agnes. She looks very cute in these Glitter Girls clothes. Bag and necklace were added by me though.

I'm so tempted to get another AE girl. Doesn't look like she's limited though, so that's good!

 

I saw her on Instagram and instantly fell in love with that smile, I'm such a sucker for smiling dolls I don't have any AE dolls yet but think their sculpts are beautiful, so Dingdang might have to be my first!

I just saw her on Jane's Dolland and I am obsessed!!! I already named her! She is the perfect Mildred Hubble from The Worst Witch!!!

 

I really want her, a Kiir, and a Danielle all as siblings

 

I really hope they release some more unique sculpts soon! ngl all the recent girls kinda just look the same to me
I'm really hoping for more 1/4 elves or more yosd from them in the new year!
I would be over the moon if they released an elf version of ding dang! I'm already heavily eyeing her adorable smiling face ahhh

 

Yeah I am excited that they debuted a darker skintone with their most recent 1/3rd girl so hopefully we could get more tan kiddos too

 

hello, could someone tell me what the quality of the resin is like?
i heard that myou doll resin yellows extremely fast. now i'm hesitant to try a new company other than my go-to Luts because this worries me, but i love so many sculpt from asleep eidolon.

@stelladolls Asleep Eidolon don't yellow especially quickly, I don't think you'd have to worry.

Valo looks interesting, different than their other sculpts. I'm waiting for a Galan (plus their tiny 3D printed Azuki), might have gone with Valo if he/she was released earlier.
Maybe I'll get just the head... but have too many floating unfinished heads already

 

Yeah I'm not sure asleep eidolon sells individual heads necessarily so you may be out of luck

 

@Haven_Of_Dolls336 well... there goes my next paycheque lmao I can't believe they released some right after I said that! I'm def eyeing Nyx, kinda liking aurora but something about her eyes in the promo pics are throwing me off....
now if only they made elf ding dang, kinda tempted to wait and see if they do that this year instead of going for the new elves yet... maybe I'll reach out and ask about it lol

 

Yeah Nyx is pretty, the eyes are super pretty in particular, I guess you could ask Jane, I'm not 100% sure if there's an email you can use or something

 

ahhh and they have 1/12 Special size Cordelia as add on purchase, through legend doll

As much as I like Asleep Eidolon dolls, can't possibly justify getting yet another full doll just for this tiny >___<
perhaps anyone purchasing their bigger doll but has no interest in this tiny?

 

does anyone have an owner pic of aedoll's fairy white resin? I'm trying to figure out if I got the wrong resin colour from legend doll or if it's just much different in person I'm p sure I got the wrong one because the colour looks much like white peach compared to fairy white

 

Same here, I was in love with this tiny doll but couldn't afford a whole msd doll just for it (even though this tiny is just the cutest and would be perfect for the character I have in mind)
I should have found someone to make a split order with me

I was wondering, does anyone have a feel for how often AE releases new 1/4 sculpts? It seems like not super often, but maybe I'm wrong. I'm wondering if I should wait longer for a face I like better than the one I'm eyeing, but if they don't have new ones often then I might not wait.

 

I don't have like an exact number but it seems like they've been releasing sculpts pretty often this year especially, It feels like there's a new oner each month!

still no elf Ding dang, that would be my absolute dream

She is cute! But not really my style, I don't tend to go for the dark/spooky theme. And I've never worked with a separate faceup artist, so I'm hesitant to try it!

I do really like the new goat girls makeup style but I wouldn't say her sculpt is a standout for me so I think my wallet is safe in this case!

 

Yeah, I'm not too impressed with the sculpt of the animal parts especially; I find most brands don't get this right, like the fur feels clunky and not realistic. DV has been doing really well with animals sculpts for a while though, they're so nice.

But I do love her face sculpt and faceup very much.

 

I'm not safe I want her as a cursed doll for my other doll, with the human body personally.

 

OMG there's two other new girls as well!! and they use their new Mian Mian body with the thigh squish
those smiles!!! as tempting their happy faces r I am still holding out for an elf Ding dang one day my dream doll
I am tempted to customize it myself but I rather wait and see if they'd release one

Seconding the wait time question. I put DingDang on layaway 6 months ago, just paid off the last of it and I'm wondering how much longer I have to wait.

 

I’ve heard from others that the wait has been 5-6 months recently but I only just purchased a Leilani last night, so we’ll see how long it ends up. Hopefully you don’t have much longer to wait.

Mildred is home!!! OMG! AE dolls are really nice! The posing is fantastic and the resin is gorgeous! I'm super impressed with the company!

Well, she was on 6 month layaway that I paid off last month. But 6 months is pretty good in the doll world!
