20–39cm Dolls Asleep Eidolon 26cm Freya

Freya arrived almost a month ago, but I was so busy with the move and everything that I didn't have the time to get on my computer and make her arrival post. But we're here now!
I didn't take any pictures of the box she came in (I was about to fly off into space because I was that excited to see her) but my oh my, that was one secure shipment! The outer box was wrapped in a plastic bag, that was covered with tape and also secured with hard plastic corner pieces. Inside the first box was a second box- wrapped super securely in bubble wrap and tape. Finally inside the second box was the official AE box, I can't remember if that was also bubble wrapped... I think it took me a good 15 minutes to get to the official box, so I guess props to AE and/or Legend Doll for being a little overprotective of the packages they send out.
Luckily unwrapping Freya from her bubble wrap travel gear didn't take me that long! Holding her in my hands felt so unreal- she's so small! I was so scared I'd break her. Here's a very blurry first photo of her and the spare parts I ordered with her.

I managed to start working on her faceup before our move, but didn't have the time to finish it until a week after. I did manage to sew this simple underwear set for her before we moved so she wouldn't have to be naked for weeks.

Painting such a tiny face was surprisingly not as challenging as I'd thought it to be! And last week I made her a wig, so now she's ready to face the world!


As usual I don't have a name for her yet, but that'll come with time~

 

Thank you for the kind words everyone! It's been really hectic lately, but soon I'll have the time to sew her some proper clothes and take her out for a nice photoshoot ^^
