My dolls are kins for each other, they are part of a big family: brothers or cousins, it depends on the plot history, that I do at this time.

 

My two dolls sadly arent related to each other at all... There are related characters planned and they are also in the same story...but since Yuichi has lived some hundred years before Naoya...they sadly cant know each other ;_;

 

My doll Josette (DM Model Ha Yarn Cho) is a governess to Glynni (Serendipity Sharmin), who is a ward in custody of her fiance, Garth (not a doll of mine yet). When Josette and Garth marry, they will adopt Glynni.

Dante and Eve are siblings.
Ava's brother is Jared and her mother Isa [Jared and Isa are owned by my friend, though].
Amane is the daughter of Ava and Dante and her little brother is Shaye.
Rin is the daughter of Ava and Morgan- she's Amane's older sister.
Alpha... she just appeared on the doorstep one day, so she got adopted into the family~ Eve took a real liking to her~

 

My dolls are generally related either by blood or through marriage/relationships. I've got....

Moswen & Tyhlian are half-brothers. Tyhlian is paired with Dakvir. Moswen is married to Kijika and they have 2 biological children, Jaiseki and Xinda (I don't have a doll form of Xinda). Jaiseki is married to Sarojin and they have twin boys Vuchel and Vashin.

Jolen and Kysmirhea are lovers and both Moswen and Tyhlian know Jolen's mother by working reputation.

Ryzel and Quinlin are lovers. They have a child, Haniel. Haniel rescued his BFF (and lover), Aischylos. Haniel and Aischylos later rescued Darius and all of them live in the same house.

Misu and Gunari are lovers.

Khale, Sleet and Fei-Lau are lovers, with Sleet also being Fei-Lau's minion.

Out of all of that, Moswen, Kijika, yhlian, Dakvir, Jaiseki, Sarojin, Vuchel, Vashin, Jolen and Kysmirhea all exist in the same world. Ryzel, Quinlin, Haniel, Aischylos, Darius, Misu, Gunari, Khale, Sleet and Fei-Lau all exist in the same world although Khale, Sleet and Fei-Lau's timeline is far in the past.

Though I may have no dolls in my home, I have been planning ahead.

The first doll I will set up is going to be a girl named Chance. While not blood related, she'll have an older brother figure to watch out for her (sculpt undecided. I really liked Orrl, but I see he's way out of my price range, so... Been working on that). Then comes Tolph (I feel this is the right way to spell his name. Pronounced toh-ph) to be her boyfriend and then there will be an adopted kid. My father is getting me a Dal Ciel soon, so whenever he (?) arrives, he'll be the head of the house and avoiding pretty much everyone, minus Chance.

I have a set of sisters in my doll collection so far, but the other two dolls I have are separate (one is a monster and the other one I haven't figured out yet) But my tinies, Colette and Kiwi, are the sisters. Colette (on the left) is a Resinsoul Yu and Kiwi (right) is a Bobobie Elfkin.

 

Well, I only have one doll right now, but my plan is to get a Minifee girl to be Miri's older sister, and a pukifee to be Miri's playmate (no relation, probably). But, we'll see if things change!

 

My two dolls aren't related and they hate each other. They are existing characters from two different series. ._. I feel a little pressured to sell one because I love for them to stay in character (since I got the dolls for those characters specifically) but the only similarities they have would make them rub each other the wrong way and it's hard to think about them sort of living in my room without killing each other. (And I've somehow already had one backhand the other off the bed. Scared the crap out of me because it was a face shot!) I didn't do it on purpose and no I can't change their characters to make them get along to make it easier on myself. xD I know it seems strange but hey, as someone who loves and studies psychology, I've got their personalities/characters down to a T and I've just got to be a little realistic about it. I've settled for putting one away if I was playing (aka sitting in my room as I practice, do homework, watch tv, surf the web, etc) with one of them.

 

well I only have two dolls and I don't plan on getting more. and since I made them both match each other, I automaticaly started percieving them as brother and sister

 

My current two dolls aren't related to each other, in fact they're from two completely different story lines. I do however have one doll coming soon that will be "sister" of my first doll. I say sister in quotes because they're really just two (out of three) aspects of another character that I eventually plan on getting a doll for. They just call each other siblings.

 

My dolls are sisters, but all on a different age, so no twins or something like that ^^

 

All my dolls have their own personla story, but they're all related in a big story together. They in a hired killer group, it's a very mysterious but strong group. People imagine it to be a huge group, but it's actually a small, fairly new group with only 14 people. Their code names are cards, from Ace to K in order of increasing strength, and also Joker. K is the "king", the leader of the group. Ace is a special information collector and doesn't actually go out on missions. I haven't decided for Joker yet, but it's probably gonna be a person who's doctor,a scientist, and a computer hacker.

There's also a member that betrayed te group and is currently being chased down. He won't be killed though because he's extremely intelligent, and he will also fall in love with the current leader (it was a different leader when he was still in the group) of the group later XD He betrayed the group because he had a very good friend in the group, but his friend was sent on a mission and died. He realized that the old leader purposely sent him to kill him because he was becoming too strong and was a potential threat to his position. He got mad and killed the leather, leaked out some info of the group, and left.

Also, this group has an orphanage where they take kids with potential and train them to be killers. Each member would find a few kids that they think are good, and when they die one of those kids would become a new member of the group. These kids are my smaller dolls.

Every member has their own story, and everyone is twisted in some way (you can't be normal to be a killer :P). There's many different relationships between members as well, and how good this relationship is depends on their personality or if they have some kind of special background story. It's a bit difficult to get this sorted out at the moment so I'm just letting it slowly develope.

There's also an enemy group. I haven't got this group figured out yet because I don't know if I'll ever have any of my dolls to be in that group, but this group is a very old group with a fairly different system. They want t get rid of the other group because they were the best group for the longest time before that group appeared out of nowhere and took their spot.

 

hmm.. well i really like yaoi.. >_>; so i bought my first bjd (Levi, a msd) a boyfriend, (Oliver, an SD) but whenever i look at Levi, i get the feeling he doesnt want to be gay or something and that he's glaring at me.. xD so i ordered another one, but this time, a girl (Aubrey, msd) xD
so uhm, Aubrey's uncle, Oliver. then her bf is Levi. then Aubrey's sister is Penelope (a Tiny delf Alice). So only Levi is not related by blood....... ?

I refer to all of my dolls as "siblings", and parts of my hoard, but if you want to get technical, Danae and Mona are sisters, Johanna and Eden are sisters, Dana and Mira are twins, and James will be getting his twin sister soon... They seem to be just one bit metaphoric family though. I have a lot of tinies and they tend to just get adopted by my MSDs.

 

Seraphine is Cesavier's girlfriend and they have a son together, my 70cm is going to be Cesavier's big brother, my mum's MSD Ariettee is their sister and her son Alfie is Cesavier's nephew. All the dolls in our house are related to one another

 

Two of my guys will be related , Julien & Martine. They will be cousins due to the "romantic dabbling" of their mutual grandfather. Part of their story is about them discovering that they are actually related.

 

As of right now, no. But, I'm thinking that I might make my incoming Minifee Rena my Ponpong's older sister.

My OC's shelled as SD dolls are more complicated:
Sarah's together with Julian. His sister Holly and her brother David (both not shelled yet) are a couple too.
Sarah has three cousins; Juliette, Lilian and Simon. Juliette is together with Cameron, who happens to be Julian's best friend. Cameron has a little boy named Lucas and a sister named Emma who works as a secretary for Allister (Emma and Lucas not shelled yet). Allister in turn is Simon's best friend and he's engaged to Lilian. And Simon thinks he might have a thing for Sarah's best friend Isla. The feeling's mutual So yes, my dolls are related, lol.

Annabelle Velcros and LillyJay Velcros are step sisters.
Taevyn Velcros is the father of Annabelle and step-father of LillyJay
Raevyn Velcros and Taevyn Velcros are twins (so brother and sister)

Most of merfolk are related too...
Markai is the eldest then it's Alayza, Aria and Malar, and finally Murro. (They're all brothers/sisters)

And then my DZ Christmas babies (the boys) are twin brothers but I'm not really sure who they will belong to yet. I had thought they would be the sons of James and Katerina...but that's up in the air now.

And some are just in relationships...
James and Kat were engaged (up in the air but I'm holding onto hope)
Miatsu and Markai (are husband and wife)
The Fae (are bonded to each other almost as husband and wife)

 

For my boy, he will be getting a brother and sister, so yes they are related. I am not related to them though (Not family) More of like a caretaker, owner, Their slave (Servant XD) And sometimes mom if it comes to taking care of them (Dressing and washing and buying clothes).

 

Out of my three dolls, my first doll Lucian, and second doll clara, are siblings. My third doll Odette isn't related to the other two, but is married to Lucian. My planned dolls for the future will not be related. They will all be random character of mine haha.

 

Well Bless and Bliss are brother and sister, him being older and more responsible and while Mirth and Insight have taken to looking after them (and I think are starting to become attracted to each other) there's no relation there. Strangely enough, even though Insi was my third doll, I think she's more the ringleader; the others all love her.

Hmmm... All my dolls are not related at all. They just happen to be 'rescued' or boarders at my place. ^^ In fact, only Nathan has an actual brother, who's an OC in a manga I'm (still in the progress of) planning.

 

The doll I already have will be the doll I'm saving for's toy XD (Ya know, YoSD and SD...)

 

A few of mine are related. I didn't intend for that to happen, but...

One relationship- Reeve and Vincent, who're married. Reeve has a son from a previous relationship, Riven, which makes Vincent a step-mother (*cough* that's what Riven calls him, anyway).

Cerina and Zaden were supposed to be mother and child, but that somehow got skewed halfway between me buying him and his arrival, so now they're related but I'm not sure how. (In other words, I'm too lazy to think of an alternate explanation.)

Really, though, they're one big unrelated family-like unit. Cerina and Ryuuko are the 'big sisters' of the bunch, and they look out for all the little ones while the 'men of the house' earn a living by standing around and looking pretty.

 

I call mine "the Family" because ... they are a family . Only my teeny-tinies aren't strictly speaking related to the others.

Everything turns around Gawain/Gwalchmei. There is his sister Theneva and his auntie Morgana; his three wives (he married one at a time, to be sure, but I have them all together :P) Ragnell, Florie and Kundry; and then there are their children. Gingalain is Gawain's son with Ragnell; Florens and Lovell are Gawain's sons with Florie. I haven't shelled Morgana's son, but I do have her black cat, Lucifer, and Ladybird, a creature she made.

The children weren't part of my original plan, but my group does feel more like a family now that they are there .

Yes. They are not all in the same storyline, but those that are in the same story are almost always related in some way. I have sisters often, but mostly, I'm just making sure that every doll representing a child has a mom. It was not a thing I do on purpose... But I recently got a mom even for my Dollfactory Kiki (little pig) - Luts Zuzu Delf Oink - and that is when I first caught on that yeah, I do this all the time

 

Two of them are in a relationship and two of them are sisters^^ One BJD bear is the youngest one's best friend and pet and I haven't decided for the others yet

 

I'm pretty sure that Aira Neela and Aine have decided they are a couple which is just a bit uncomfortable for me since they are both big brightly colored dolls from Mirodoll. I feel they are a bit closely related to be SO's but I don't think they care much what I think. Eh, if they are happy who am I to judge? Technically they are not the same sculpt so I guess it's okay. My new younger SD boy Seamus (Luts 2010 Event head) has a big old boy crush on my MA Kelly, Turlough, but Turlough is just rather amused by it and is mostly ignoring him while gently trying not to hurt his feelings. I don't think Seamus knows quite what he is yet. Or wants. I sense a lot of confusion with the new boy. For all he's on a bigger boy body he's a bit young for it and I am still not sure he's staying it though it fits well enough.

Turlough, well he just takes it all in stride. He's a laid back, zen kind of guy. He knows I am finally getting a RS Dai and he's been down with the idea of Dai as a GF for a while now. He thinks she's gorgeous. Whether or not Dai will ultimately agree to be his GF is up to her, of course, but I don't see how any girl could not like Turlough. He's such a lovely soul and too darned cute in his whimsical way. Alba doesn't have a BF or a GF and so far I don't see any signs that she wants one. Vampire Lucy, well, she'll flirt with any old doll. She's a total coquette and gender or size does not seem to matter one bit with her. She's way too busy playing the field and having a good time.

Narae really wants a BF and her brother Narin, she says. I'm looking for a small Narin head to oblige her and/or for a 43cm BF of some sort that would work age-wise. She'll likely get one or the other, but not likely both. I'm not made of money. "P I don't want her to be lonely but I'm not sure I can oblige her completely. She's a greedy little thing, that one. I have a feeling she'd end up with a whole crew of "friends" if I let her have her way. She's already stolen my little Wind's body, poor thing is just a lonely head in a bag now....

 

My two dolls are twins! And every doll in the future will be some sort of relative or in a relationship with the family!

The older sister is a Kid Delf Ani, the younger is a PukiPuki Flora! I think they kinda look like they could be related, with similar faceups, eyes and wigs, maybe?!

 

They are! Kiahn (Angelregion Cien) and my incoming DD Hiro, Say, are a couple and have adopted Copper (Aidolls AA Sunny). Copper was origially going to be the son of my SD guy Jyo, but the yoSD size didn't work that well with SD. So now Kiahn and Say have a kid of their own ^^ Seeing that I've had the characters for 7 years now and finally seeing them make a little family is super cute xD And of course, Copper is a super cute yoSD as well.

 

Four of my girls are sisters, one married and one of the other girls is a cousin. One of my boys has a daughter. The others are friends. Most live in a boarding house owned by the sisters.

 

Ash and Evz are twins. I am waiting on Evz's body to come in. So he will be the youngest of the twins.
All of the rest are not related, though Jeremy and Micah are a couple.

 

I try make sure all my dolls have some bonds and if I get one who doesn't fit I try to plan ahead to get him/her a sibling or a friend in the future

 

I just have two YoSDs, a boy and a girl, they're fraternal twins. the floating head is not destined to be related to them, though, as far as i can tell...

 

Let's see...Johnny and Chaeri are married, of course, and although that's not by-blood relation (at least it shouldn't be!), I feel it still counts. Joe and Miyae are also married and have been for a long time. As for actual blood ties, Ashe is cousins with both Megumi and Belle, but Belle and Megumi aren't related to each other. (Ashe's mom is Japanese and her father is Cajun. She's related to Meg on her mother's side and Belle on her father's.) Johnny, Chaeri, Joe and Miyae aren't blood-related to anybody else in the krewe.

 

All of my dolls are family in the sense that they're in the same storyline. (It keeps me from going crazy trying to buy everything I like XD) Ivan and Fedya are brothers in-story, and Thane is Ivan's guard, but otherwise I think everyone else is from different places.

 

Until a few days ago, this question did not even come up. But now that my lover bought his first doll and will buy another soon, I feel like they will be related to each other. Like a small family (maybe sisters to begin with).

 

Some of them are related- I have bookshelf houses on one wall- so they are divided into shelves- one shelf is a family (of sorts-mostly cousins) and the other shelves are groups of friends

i always tend to buy dolls that are related in the development of their story, so future dolls i get will most likely be related to each other.

 

Kinda! All of my dolls are in the same storyline, though not necessarily in the same time period. Noire is Xion and Amser's adopted daughter, and Xion and Amser are (or were) lovers. Future dolls will probably be from the same story as well.

Ash's twin Evz (body) arrived but just before that Ash found Remi his younger half brother. Their father had run off again and being a minor Reed Michael, Remi, needed a stable home. Ash took him in and now the three brothers are together.
After speaking with Evz, who has been in Europe researching their heritage. They may be finding other family members, daddy was a player (actually an incubus but they don't know it yet, also the reason their mothers died in childbirth). A sordid tale. Half incubus brothers, this will definitely affect their lives.

The dolls I have right now don't really fit together, but I hope in the future they will. I would like to have a brother and sister pair, and the story would be that they live in a haunted house with ghosts and vampires, some of which they are related to, and some of which the house and the land collected over time. And the siblings are kind of reclusive and possibly immortal themselves. It's not too original, but I collected ghost dolls off of etsy and eBay for years before I got into BJDs. Between the white resin and pupil-less eyes, I'm tempted to make just about every doll I see a ghost. And there are also elves and fairies on the property, because they're cute and I want them to fit into the family.
