are your dolls related to each other?

Sort of. I have three story lines or "universes" their characters come from so they are interrelated but right now the only two who are biologically related are Kisten and Amaryllis who are cousins.

Noble is Kitsune's guardian.
Amaryllis is Kisten's cousin and eventually I will buy Dorian who is Amaryllis's father and Kisten's uncle.
Dorian is Noble's best friend.
Phaolan is also in this little world and I used to own a doll who represented the character of his older sister but couldn't bond and sold her. Kisten is his lover.

Other than that I have NiNi and Sebastian who are lovers and Killian and Aric who are lovers but don't own any related dolls from either of their story lines. I have considered owning Killian's brother in doll form, if I ever progress his character.

 

All of my dolls are from the same universe, and all of the ones I own currently are from the same storyline. In fact, all of them are a family as they live in the same house, but none of them are directly related. Kohaku and Nami are from the same clan, and they've been adopted by Jin, who is related to their clan but not in it, and Kokoro, who has no blood relation to any of them whatsoever. I may later get a few dolls from a slightly different storyline that occurs six years after the time my current dolls are set in.

 

I doubt my dolls will be related. I have like... 3 characters who have siblings? And their siblings are hardly ever mentioned except for one of them... and even then he's often mentioned in passing. Since I want to have my characters made that means alot of characters who may be friends (had to make an AU for that) but not related. Maybe if I ever find my boy Kesu and my friend makes his gf/eventual wife - we can have their son? :P

 

I've have a brother/sister. A sister/sister. And the rest are just all friends.

 

None of my dolls are related, some of them come from different times, space, ect.
Only maybe 1 or 2 "know" everyone else but except those ones, some never meet in my story :P

But I do have a little "fiction" in mind that would explain why they are dolls and in the same place even though they do not know each other :P
Just so its funnier and easier to explain who and what they are and stuff like that if people ask xD

Hikari, once he is completed is going to be Tala's younger brother.

As for head of the house. I don't feel Tala being like that, he really doesn't have the confidence for it bless him. Daniel didn't take the roll either, the two characters seem to respect each other and I recently realised that if I wrote them into the same scene as each other they would come to think of each other as friends.

 

My dolls aren't related to each other, but my Van (DZ Shoyo) is my best friend, hakura0's Marquet's (DZ Hid) younger brother, and my Rikka (DZ Megi) is the twin of her Tenka (DZ Megi). :3 The rest of my dolls are generally involved with each other in some way or another, too - usually romantically. xD

 

My dolls are more or less the equivalent of married. They've sort of cropped while I've been writing a story, they're more minor characters in writing. The story centers more around their nephew and a girl, but while Aidara is generally a very little person, and Gelert is very much the opposite, I'm not sure how to go about doing dolls for the more normal sized characters. (well, the nephew could pass at 60cms, but the girl would be closer to 50, which is an odd size).

So, yeah, mine are related...but other relations of theirs may or may not become dolls eventually.

 

Not really.
Altough they all live in the same place (El Circo Oscuro) and work for the same person (me xD) there are not many relationships. Yes, some characters are family-connected, lovers or arch enemys but on the other side, in the story, they are coming to El Circo alone and get to know the others after.

It's complicated. I won't be angry if you don't understand it. Really.

 

Bella and Ena are cousins. Ena and Golfin are lovers. Bella and Conal also.

 

Aubrey is Mordecai's uncle. Taira is adopted by their family. Floroteian is from a disowned branch of their family, and she in turn found and takes care of Evangel the half-demon. Floroteian and Mordecai are lovers.

Stellan and Jacinthe eloped and kept their marriage a secret (although it didn't stay secret for long ).

 

Most of my dolls are just from "same story lines" and aren't related, although my Lucian and Lily are related. They are half siblings.

I do have plans for a father and son type set of characters and I'm really excited to start planning for their dolls!

 

My dolls are in two diff families, related by the sharing of an apartment by the two boys.

 

Almost all of my dolls are 'related' in some way to one another, be it either by familial connections or other. But that's partially because I'm using all of their characters in a story But the ones that are actually related by blood are my IH Tania and my AH Kozy - father (Kozy) and daughter (Tania). My AS Vera will also have a sister (PW Viyol), as soon as I stop buying other dolls and actually get her >.>

 

Right now the only related dolls I have are 2 brothers but I hope to eventually have:

-Two 19 year old fraternal twin brothers
-A 12 year old brother and teenage sister plus their mother and father
-A 13 year old brother and 18 year old sister and their 22 year old cousin
-A 36 year old brother, 28 year old sister, and 16 year old brother
-A fraternal twin set of a 6 year old brother and sister
-A mother and 3 year old daughter

 

The dolls I have right now (well, doll and floating head) are not related at all. Of my planned family, there are some groups that are related-- mostly through marriage and adoption. And some that have a nakama-style bond without really being related. But right now, the only thing that links the boys I've got is the fact that they share a body.

My dolls are blood relations only if they're from the same company- their family includes my housemates dolls too.
It get a bit complicated with hybrids and Luts/Fairylands. I have a Beauty Green Shushu from the Luts era of MiniFee who is stepsister to the other Fairylands, and a Luts era Elf Shiwoo MiniFee on a fairyland A-Line that's Half brother to the Fairylands. My JollyPlus has a Dollzone body, so he's half brother to my Dollzones. I'm sure you get the picture.

it was initially our justification for similarities that happen in companies. Now it's just a habit XD

All the families live together not-so-harmoniously under one ruler, my housemate's Soom Chalco (aside from my Soom Spinel, Dorian, who hates him and goes out of his way to be annoy him)

 

My Antonia and Murphy (Resinsoul Mei and An) are twins.

Murphy is the head of the household ... that might be why the house is doing so badly

Yes. Buahaha, it's a good excuse to get more dolls, because they are "family".... I expect I'll branch out into 2nd cousin twice-removed and so on, sometime down the line... XD

 

This is going to be silly but, my DoD Petsha and Elf Ducan are brother and sister. They're technically half-siblings but Navi thinks Mihael is her full brother. They share a father but Navi's mother was a fairy and not a moon elf, which was a crime and blah blah long story short: Mihael never told Navi about her mother and that she's half moon elf and half fairy.

My in-coming boy, Soom Aphan, is going to be Navi's guardian but that's about as related as they're going to get I think.

 

Well I don't have any dolls yet, but I know that I'll have 3 brothers. I am in the process of buying the first one right now. ^__^

 

I have a couple of groups of dolls within the larger collection. Group One consists of Ryuuki and his younger siblings, twins Hotaru and Kaoru. Group Two consists of Kazuya and his son Akira (and someday his son Hideyoshi and daughter Izayoi). Group Three is Harumei, Yuna, and my new girl who doesn't have a name yet. They aren't related to each other or to any of the other groups. Masuyo is an honorary member of Group 1 because he was Ryuuki's mentor and they are very close.

 

I had made 2 of my dolls brothers but I ended up selling them both. If I only get dolls to shell my characters... I will probably not have any siblings. Their siblings are usually secondary roles or not important beyond statistics lol. It's sort of strange, I have an older brother whose one of my best friends but I don't create siblings for my main characters who I'm too attached to. Sorry dollies, you may not have "blood relatives" but you'll have friends who are the "family you found on the way".

I tend to pair my males and females. When I get a new doll I find my self searching for a mate for it. Then there seems to be a new release or second hand doll that comes along who makes a perfect child or baby for the pair. I think this might be my subconscious way of having an excuse to buy more dolls in every category! (laughs at myself!). For example I just ordered a male vampire for my DOT Delphine. The next day I see the new release of DOD DOB Gemini twins. Now I NEED those too!!!!!

 

well, technically 2 of my dolls are different aspects of the same person. But that's a long story I'm not gonna get into. Dunno if that should count as related lol.
I've been dying to get my Soom Ai a brother though.

 

My soon to be here Amy will be the adopted daughter of my Tedros and my MNM (she's a Little Sister they rescued in Rapture, a la Bioshock universe). We are very excited to have our family together! ^-^

 

I always envision my dolls interacting like sisters, and my husband tends to refer to them as sisters, but they don't have set characters and thus aren't "related."

 

none of mine are related per se, but they have been together so long they act like their related.

 

I plan on having my BBB Espree be the younger sister of my dream doll . . . if I ever can afford him -_- But I don't have any other "family" relations planned. Yet.

 

Oh yeah, it's been that way from the first. Tsuki is Komori's cousin, Shao as Ko-chan's BF is s sort of "adopted big brother" to Tsuki, and when I get a Rebecca she'll be Shao's kid sister, Zhu Mei. And the onna-kitsune I'm planning (only need to find a Heliot head!) is Lady Koi, Komori's grandmother, Haru's friend and lover of long standing, and the den mother of the whole pack.

 

I have two that are sisters and then their mother. My dolls are characters in my photostories, and so the mother also has another child character who I currently don't own in doll form. But I will purchase sometime.

 

Well when I get more dolls I am going to have two sets of brothers other then that most of them will know each other as friends.

Yea, I got the family thing going on ....brothers, sisters, cousins, twins, triples and I think mother and daughter (my Soso and fat fairy Bonbon).

 

My Puki Pipi is my Sprite boy's niece. I got a Sprite girl to be her mother, but I'm not keeping her; as a character she just isn't integrating into the story very well. My Puki Ani (who body-shares with the Pipi) doesn't even interact with the other dolls.

 

Yes. Faye and Julian are brother and sister. Faye's mom is Quinnya (but I don't have her home ). Rose and April are sisters. And that's about it. I'm vaguely planning a twin sister for my SD boy, Aiden. Her name would be Nadia (Aiden backwards). I also have a set of three, twins and their younger sister. So yeah, I love siblings~

 

Nobody is related in my family, my Maria is my first doll and she runs the show lol, my boy Sakutaro is her .....lover? (its mostly platonic Maria is too bold >.<) hes a really serious guy (he glares at me when i procrastinate and i feel guilty so have to actually study and write papers TT.TT) and Anne is kind of the mother figure for the group but not blood related (but shes still a really cool kick butt girl) and Lala is the adorable pet everyone fights over XD

I have some siblings and cousins in my doll family but no couples or parent-child relationships though my oldest is the "big sister" who sort of looks after the others. Most of my dolls are children.

 

My incoming Pukifee Bonnie will have a Father (I have no idea when he'll come home though). He isn't with her Mum but he has a girlfriend, so they'll probably end up having the whole family unit thing going on.
I'm also planning on getting another parent-child relationship (Mother and daughter with a sort-of but not quite adopted child as well)
The dolls I have currently aren't related, although Quinn and Jehn are sort-of dating while Jasper and Quinn are so close they're almost like brother and sister.

As for the 'head of the house' I would say that, right now, that seems to go to my second doll, Jasper. My other dolls are too shy for that kind of thing. :P

two are stepbrothers and 3 are a family (dad and sons).
other two are a couple but it doesnt count.
other two, one is a vampire ant the other his Sire (vampire maker .. so they could be related)
some has some brother - cousin but they're belonging to my friends (dolls i sold.. dolls we've ordered toghether.. etc)
for the rest, they just live under the same roof bearing each other and sharing clothes

Two of my Already Home dolls are brother/sister (A+A); then on my Planning List, I have identical twin sisters (N+N), and cousins (S+S). Whoops, I didn't realize their names started with the same letter, lol. There are little family units, but they're not blood relatives. You don't need to share genes to be a family~!

 

I hate how well I have this mapped out, but I've made 'backstories' for my dolls. To make a long story short, my msd's are half-siblings, and my SD is their 'guardian' while they live with me. )

My Koriel and Mokuba are more traveling companions then 'related' though, Mokuba does consider Kori her adoptive big brother. They have no relation by blood.
