Shopping Are there any new and active EU dealers?

Jan 4, 2023

    1. Hi everyone! Asking a question as in the thread's title, as I've had a break from the hobby and I'm a bit out of the loop. I've checked the Wiki already and the info there is a bit old, including already closed dealers (and besides even the timestamp says the "page was last modified on 23 June 2020")

IoriDolls seems to be still active though their shop section has only a few "in-stock" items and sadly, their partnerships don't include companies I'm most interested in.

To sum up: are there any new dealers that appeared over the course of 2020-2022? Or older ones that seem to be closed but are not?

    2. I'd love to know this as well!

    3. AFAIK there's no-one for the EU market, except for angelesque, which doesn't have the best reviews at the moment.
Following in case someone does find a new dealer

    4. Angelesque is in the UK, so no longer EU.

    5. I know, but it's the only one in the area xD I should've specified, sorry!

    6. Oh that's nice! I think the previous link that was on the wiki was broken, so I assumed they were no longer in the business.

    7. Right after I posted the above, I went to the Wiki page and updated the BJD Dreams section with those current URLs - the old ones were indeed broken. I'm unable to check on the other EU dealers, but at least the BJD Dreams links are updated now. :)

    8. Dealt last month with BJDdreams and can't be happier :)
      I absolutely recommend her.

    9. I'm not sure if this is a user issue or what's happening, but is it normal that I can't actually click through on the pictures of the BJDs to check the sizes or more pictures of the doll like on other sites?
I tried on Chrome and Edge if that makes a difference

    10. Doesn't work for me either.
And, perhaps more concerning, there is a cookie popup that does not give you the option to deny cookies. It's a google site rather than a proper domain owned by the company, so it's not terribly surprising, but it's still bordering illegal, at least it is here. I'm pretty sure that's a EU-level law, not a local one. I would strongly advice against visiting the site without some pretty sturdy browser add ons to protect you. And obviously don't use a Google owned browser.

    11. I looked at the html of the site and there's no link there, the things the site is made of are just boxes with a photo and text that don't lead anywhere. I may have missed something in the code but it looks like the site is just made like that - it's impossible to click and view details.

    12. Maybe it's intended to be seen more like a show room than a store?

    13. At least I can rest assured it's not just me doing something wrong haha :XD:

    14. Makes sense! I read in the info section that ordering takes place by email anyway so it would follow there's no "real" store.
