I used to have one in like, 2006-2008 I think and recently was thinking of her and her wide little lollipop head and her skinny body and her little enigmatic smile. I couldn't remember the name and after a bit of searching found out that she was a Dollshe (that was a surprise to me considering what I remembered of Dollshe). Anyways I was feeling nostalgic! It doesn't seem like there were many of them made, and I feel like all my old bjds came from companies that either don't exist anymore, or molds that are hard to find. https://www.flickr.com/photos/rhibops/127571889/ Here is a photo from Rhibops on flickr, I think that's a stock photo but I'm not sure! I miss her haunting little smile, I liked how she really looked like a doll in that way Anyways just a bit of reminiscing!
I sure do, I have one! She's definitely a little treasure, wasn't even that common back in the day when they were still making her. This photo is a few years old (oh god, more like ten), but it's not like she's any less cute now That flickr photo has the Iplehouse logo in it, so definitely an old stock photo. I vaguely remember there used to be a couple of big dealers, like Luts, that used to sell Dollshe sculpts back in the day, so it's possible that this was either a "doll and faceup from us," since it seems to have included a credited makeup artist, or "stock photo of clothing item for this doll" type photo.
@spacemachine, I agree, Dollshe Rus are still cute after all these years. I love their hands and feet, and once did a photostory featuring my Ru's feet -- Tell Me A Story I'm fortunate to own two Rus, both bought on the secondary market at different times -- The one on the right has a default face-up that *might* be Tensiya. The one on the left has a face-up by the person I bought her from. I'd planned to remove the face-up, but when she arrived, it inspired her character (that of a naughty little neighbor girl), so it stayed
thank you so much for sharing her, she's so sweet! Thank you for sharing this! I love how different they look even though they're the same mold. Maybe I'll eventually put a ISO ad up in the marketplace and try and find another one. You've both inspired me to look for her again ))
My Ru Cricket was actually the first member of Troop Tiny. She's a sweet girl CicadaCricket by clochette62, on Flickr
I got her directly from Dollshe/Tensiya in 2005, so yes, forever. I'd ordered both she and Fee at the same time, but she arrived first, beating Fee by only 3 weeks, then Nissa snuck in five days later They are responsible for creating what is now Troop Tiny and my focus on being a tinys person, which was unusual back then.
