Wanted Any Knit/Sew Patterns for 30cm BJD?

Feb 24, 2016

    1. Hello everyone! Just wondering if anyone has any simple sewing and/or knitting patterns for 30-35cm BJD? I have a Customhouse Ai Junior boy who is 35cm and a LatiGreen girl who's at 30cm as well as an incoming 5 Star Doll girl who is also 30cm tall that require some cute clothes. Thanks for any help!

    2. There's not a lot directly: YOSD patterns tend to work, though if you've got the skills you'll usually want to lengthen the bodice area and skirt unless you want the babydoll look, for the 30cm girls. The 35 cm group I see even less for.

I have been quite pleased with the gracefairy patterns:
PDF pattern; Gracefaerie pattern 53- Perfect 10. Multiple outfits for Tiny or YOSD BJDs 10 - 10.5 inches
Gracefaerie PDF pattern 35- Don't Pin Me Down. 3 outfits for Creedy Butterfly Child series dolls; Feline costume, Punk outfit, A-line dress

I needed to do some small tweaks on shoulder width and cuff width on some pieces, and the a-line dress was nowhere wide enough for my girl's hips, but the instructions are clear and the patterns are very well laid out. It doesn't have photos with the instructions of each step, though, so some experience sewing is needed.

I have a 30cm 5Star Tong Tong for reference. I can share pics of the results of above if you're interested.

    3. There are some really cute patterns on etsy. Just search for 'yosd pattern' or 'yosd knitting pattern'. However, my experience is that the sewing patterns always need some adjustment for a proper fit. It's perfectly doable for sure, but I just wanted to let you know ;)

    4. I have patterns from DG Requiem, and I LOVE them! (Especially her packs on her Etsy Shop, packs for tinies are fabulous!!!:chibi:D)You can try with her freebies (Freebies!) and after, watch her other patterns... But the other patterns aren't free... :(
