Anubis mod, full doll mod, new update april 12

This is AMAZIIINNGGG. I look forward to seeing him all dressed up. I love Egyptian mythology and Anubis is pretty damn cool.

 

I'm speechless for words.

My god, he is gorgeous! This is some seriousley amazing work you've done there. I support the idea of you doing an original sculpt, cast in resin and all. You would be on par with soom!

 

I think we all need to PM effigy and get him to post pics of the finished and costumed doll!

 

WOW. THIS. Is beautiful. I love that (in the pictures at least) his dyed body has this undertone of bronzy/red (most likey fron the tan, before) even before blushing. Super beautiful. Great job with this, Anubis is my favorite Eygpting God, so this makes me happy C8 And I think you aced the ear, size-waise (and everyother-wize? on everything! xD)

Holy mother of--! The work you've done with this mod is... is... brilliant. I'm honestly blown away by your amazing mod job. His muzzle and ears are sculpted wonderfully. I can't wait to see him finished and clothed! I always loved ancient history, and Anubis was always one of my favorite gods. I'm definitely subscribing to this thread!

Did he end up being glossy, in the end?? He's just utterly fabulous regardless, but I'd love to see the end results, too

 

Will we get to see the results? You can't leave us hanging like this. Your mod is awesome! Please post a few more photos even if you didn't finish his outfit, I'd love to see him with the eyes in. I'm subscribing, there has to be some closure to all of this fantastic work.

That's strange how Soom's looks somewhat similar to Effigy's mod. But, Effigy's mod is still 100 times better than Sooms. I still can't get over how incredibly light Anubis is either.

 

This thread was the first thing I thought of when I saw that Soom doll! I keep hoping we'll get to see how this Anubis turned out when it was final!

 

I am shaken by result. A doll fantastic. You the good fellow that have dared to make such doll.

 

i really think your anubis is better than soom's , soom disapointed me on their effort.

I think overall this Anubis mod was a success! I really love the head and the dye job + blushing really have a great effect! I really liked the gold colour on the nails!

Good grief. Here I am scanning through the posts I haven't seen already, going "but where's the update? It's April 12...." and just now realized it was April 12 LAST YEAR that you added that. Sure, I know what year it is...

But am beyond happy to see that new pictures are on the horizon!
