Sorry Mods, if this isn't in the right place or if there's already a thread like this, but my searches brought nothing up. ______________ I'm looking specifically for anthros and/or anthro'd dolls with fur/body hair. Not just fluffy tails or ears, but maybe parts like limbs or the on back. That's probably a strange request but asking never hurt anyone. (I've a doll I don't have any concrete plans for and am playing with a anthro'd concept, however, after scrolling through many, many anthro themed threads I couldn't anything like what I'm actually looking for. I'm already working on the doll and giving her fur, but I'd be interesting to see what others have done. And maybe get some further inspiration.)
This is a project I'm currently in the middle of but Ive gone in with a base of pastel and I do fur detail with thinned acrylic and a liner brush I also attempted to have my Luna tamer look like a tortie cat
Reviving this thread to ask for more examples. With all the anthros and fantasy sculpts that are out there, I want to see how people handle blushing and painting on fur and hair.
Dream valley comes to mind. They've been adding more and more lately. Especially when you consider all the snake folks lately and their lizard man is so textured. Loongsoul has re released their black dragon. He has huge bits of fur and scales all over. Emperor Xuan Dragon, 73.5cm Limited Loong Soul Doll - BJD, BJD Doll, Ball Jointed Dolls - Alice's Collections Dollzone but more so miracle doll has some decent digi grade legs, especially with their cat girl But fur SPECIFICALLY? Haven't seen too much of that.
@Vimes I'm looking mostly for owner pictures to see how people chose to handle blushing and detailing on fur.
I can't find the video for some reason. but I saw an artist who easily did the best job was with a gradient dye and basically lightly sanded the raised bits of the fur and would add watered down paint to the deeper recesses.
