Another Newbie here!

You must be getting tired of all the DOA disgruntled members coming over here!

I am not yet a doll maker- I do face ups and make wigs for sale- so I thnk I am an 'observer'?

I own the Yoshida doll making book and have been planning for ages to start making a doll. I want to be somewhere where I can ask questions about clay and tools and not to be made to feel stupid for asking!

I used to love looking at artists dolls on DOA and watching their progress- it was a real inspiration.

I hope I don't come over all 'oh wow!' on peoples posts and I hope some of you can guide me when I finally get round to making my first doll!

I live in Derby in the UK and love attending doll meets and often have dolly friends round, I enjoy photography and also making clothes for the dolls- I am slowly re lerning my forgotten dress maing skills, I did my degree final in dressmaking but it has been a long time!
