    1. Discussion thread for Anna-Queen, a Taiwanese sculptor. She only makes heads but her sculpts are compatible with Volks and Luts Normal resin. So whatever is similar to that resin color should be good too.
      She's also a pretty good faceup artist...you can order customized faceups when you order a head from her.
      I hope she does well...coz so far, she is the only Taiwanese sculptor I know of and that's kinda sad.

    4. Saw her and her dolls in person at the TWDP convention yesterday. She's a really sweet girl. I noticed 2 other people with her Heart sculpt at the convention since they're really easy to recognize, or maybe I'm just partial.
      I'm really loving the lips on Heart...I'm agonizing over whether I should get a Heart the next time she has a preorder period.

    6. Oooh, these are very pretty!

      I think on first impression, I like Spade best. He easily falls into what I like in a face! Oh, but Heart is really pretty too.
      I'd really like to see them next to other dolls.

    7. In her flickr....she's got quirky little photostories going on with her own sculpts and other company dolls.
      She's got a DOD-Lahoo, a Switch Shino, Volks YOSD papi & F35, DIM Ace & Jullis (this info taken from her profile) I can't for the life of me recognize these sculpts though.

    9. I love heart as well. That droopy, doe-eyed look is like my biggest doll fetish. But I already have so many heads like that I decided to go with Spade out of the two. If I wasn't so short of cash I might have gone for both anyway though!

    10. I ordered a Club as well. She was so nice,and it was very easy to order. She did ask me to pay PayPal fees, but I wasn't going to pass up on the head over it this time.

      Her style is really lovely and resonates with everything I like, I wish I could have gotten them all. I really liked the faceups she's posted, so I ordered that as well. I'm excited to see Club in person.

    11. Ahh these dolls are all gorgeous! I am absolutely in love with Shadow... I've decided I really badly need one. Alas I don't think it will come to pass but I'm just gonna sit here and drool over the cute dolls anyway. XD

    12. I asked the artist and she said the four sculpts Aya, Ivory, Laya and Shadow might be released in the future in modified versions. Lots of time to save up, I guess!

    16. I suppose I should admit that I totally broke down and bought a Club head. :sweat I really shouldn't have, but, well...there are a couple different characters here that the sculpt would suit quite well, I think. Once it arrives, I'll decide which one works best.

      damn I really love those bags under his eyes. She did quite well with Club... 7 of his heads were ordered.

      Update: Anna has posted a pic of the boxes the heads will be sent out in.
      Wow...did she make these? Coz that's just too cool!! Is it stupid of me to say I wanna order a head just so I can get one of her boxes with her logo on it? Actually...I should ask if it was her dad that made them...coz he also has a workshop.

    24. Everyone NEEDS to spam their heads when they get here. Forget about "he/she's got no body so not complete." I wanna SEE~~

      Anna mentioned that most people didnt deviant too far away from her original design so she was painting 7 heads almost the same. I believe that's a huge compliment. It means the faceup she gave her original Club was so perfect no one wanted to change it. But I'ld still love to see them all~~~

    26. Sorry I should have made myself clearer. There were 10 slots available and 9 were taken: 7 of them were Club (one yours I believe), 1 was Heart, and 1 Diamond. Don't worry...the only heads she has available are hers and they're pretty well taken care of.

    27. What kind of bodies is everyone thinking about?

      I'm really battling with the body I want for him. On one hand I want it slim and lean & on the other hand I want something bigger. I would LOVE to put him on the 5th Motif Timeless body (if there are still 2 left) but no clue on the resin match or proportions or how well that body hybrids with other heads. But I also don't want to end up with another body that's difficult to clothe…ugh, I have way too many of those.

      Edit: Timeless bodies are sold out…at least I can cross that one off my option list.

    30. Update: Almost all packed. I guess the next stage is finding cardboard boxes for shipping and slapping on the address?
      Despite how none of these belong to me...I still got really excited when I saw this picture on her facebook.

    32. Update: as stated in her sales thread, if you order a faceup from her, she will include a faceup card that allows you to purchase her faceup service for USD33.
      The faceup card can only be used once, it doesn't expire, it is limited to the doll you purchased it with (the ID number of the doll is printed on it).

      Kudos to her, she took the effort to print it out in English.

      She finished her last head and they're all packed!!
      Everything's going all nice and smooth except....the EMS form was 5 pages thick and she didn't realize her writing wasn't being transferred onto the last page until she filled all of them out. LOL This means she's gotta do them all over again! Her reaction (Q_Q) <<<< so cute! :XD:

    37. OMG…My boy is here:D I just got the shipping notice on Friday. I think he teleported by magic fairies. I always sing praises of Korean EMS but this was just unreal.

      The packaging and presentation; the care with which he was packed and all the little details…I am truly spoiled and fortunate.

      Also to note - he matches Switch (2013) and the Humming Dolly 65 proportions look good.

      As soon as I stop bouncing around in excitement and have a moment to post a fairly decent pic - I'll update the post.

      So excited to see everyone else's boys come in. :dance

    39. My Club arrived yesterday as well. He's a very very close match to new Volks, but slightly paler. In my photos he's on my One-Off Michele's SD10 boy body. The proportions are a little off, but his head a similar size to Michele. I thinnk it is the difference in jaw prominence that makes the difference.

      The white balance in my photo is totally off, but it shows the slight difference between the two resins.

    42. My Club arrived last week, too, but I am a useless lazy bum and can't find the time to take photos of the head right now.

      I am a little disappointed that the faceup discount card is restricted to the Club head. That wasn't indicated in the purchase, and I have no desire to have the head repainted (I adore the faceup Anna-Queen gave it), so it's pretty much useless. I was looking forward to having the opportunity to send another head to her.

      The makeup card is no time limit.
      So if your Club makeup is broken. You can use this card sent to re-up.
      Also, if you have other companies doll want to give me makeup.
      I plan to open by the end of February a small number of overseas makeup.

    44. Sorry guys. That's my fault. I understand Chinese but only simple words.

      It's Anna's first overseas order. When I saw her sales thread by accident on ruten (taiwanese ebay) I noticed she was offering to ship overseas, and thought it would be cool to post it on the company news thread. Just so people could get a chance to buy her sculpts since I thought they were beautiful and really special, and believed other people would probably feel the same.

      I believe I understood everything correctly and made a lot of fine tuning to the company news post. I even specifically asked her about the special half-price-faceup-service she offered. Later in an email, she stated that she was having a hard time explaining to people how her faceup card worked. I tried to help her and we went through a sh*tload of emails before I fully understood what she truly meant and for her to understand what I had actually written. It was not my intention to mislead anyone about the faceup card and it was definitely not her intention either.

      I also like her faceups a lot and was planning to ask if she did faceup services for other dolls. When I attended the convention that was running simultaneously with her ordering period I found out you could only win her faceup slot by lottery due to high demand. So yah....dont throw that card away.

      EDIT:
      Okay...I've written her a email and she explained to me, in simple Chinese.
      1) This is the FIRST time she has offered the half-price-faceup-service thing.
      2) Normally when she opens faceup slots, they are gone so quick that people who own her sculpts don't even get a chance.
      3) Many of her sculpt owners just wanted her to do touchups or the exact same faceup but they never can.
      4) She has limited the use of the faceup card to her sculpts for an understandable reason, her faceup services are usually NT2000 (USD65 give or take). She doesn't want people capitalizing on it.
      5) She has promised she will improve understanding in the future.
      6) And there's a lot of Chinese while's we're both apologizing to each other.

    59. i am intrigued. How does Anna Queen announces a pre-order and where does she put the details of her heads as well as the price and the neck hole size? Does she do everything through facebook or does she use flickr?
      I like Club. Can he be put on a Timeless Body? Because I would be mightily interested.
