Animazement 2007 (North Carolina) Meet

The meet up was a total blast. I enjoyed meeting everyone in the area! Alas, we forgot our camera so I am glad there are so many pics.

 

I missed that?!??!

Ack! I missed the meet-up! *sigh* At least I made it to the panel. I'll try to load my pictures as soon as I finish my website.

 

What pretty dollies! I'm SO glad to see people in NC as i might be moving there! Now i REALLY hope I do! Looks like you guys had fun!

Yay for lots of pictures...and I even managed to get some not so blurry ones with all the moving going on in the gazebo! It was awesome to see everyone, we will have to do it again soon ^_^

 

This is so fangirly but seriously I think your Remy was the doll highlight of the con for me.

I agree completely ... Remy is quite hot! I don't think I could stop looking at him.

 

Not many I was really tired on Sat. and didn't bust out the camera till the evening.

 

I think Remy stole a lot of hearts actually. I know my mother is now obsessed with him if nobody else. He's just so manly and gorgeous!

I love all the pictures. Now I have pictures of Elizabeth finally! Sorry I wasn't better company over the weekend. So tired. X_X I made it back safely around 10 Sunday night, but was exhausted and there were "kitty accidents" on my bed as my cat-sitter didn't notice one of the babies being locked in my room for 3 days. So no sleep really that night. Woke up around 1PM yesterday, mad cleaning and such, fell asleep again. Now I'm at work. I'll try to get some pictures up or something either tonight or tomorrow.

So glad I finally got to see a Baha in person. So cute! Aida ( can't remember his name, sorry!) and Remy really did steal the show for my mom and me though. And thank you E, for bringing Carlos over to take pictures!

may i be a card carrying member of the Remy fanclub?? he has always been my favorite X-Man and you did a wonderful job with him.

weird though all of our pictures we had developed look washed out. it is really strange. i think i have one from the panel that came out. will try to post it later tonite.

 

Looks like everyone had a great time, so many dolls! Finally a meet-up that had more dolls than my living room!

Mmmmm. Remy... There were other yummy males I found desirable, too. Of the females, I have to say I was fondest of Maddy. She was a gorgeous pirate, and I can see why you wanted her so badly.

Can we say that my camera was overwelmed by all the dollies and just couldn't handle it?? or we could make it into a where's waldo for dollies:find your doll.

So when are we having our next NC meetup?

 

I know I've taken my dolls there so much, but I still /love/ the Duke Gardens ; They have that lovely little bamboo area (or several, really) and I've gotten such fantastic photos there. But I could go just about anywhere!

 

I vote the museum of life and science in durham also. The butterfly pavillion would be great and there are a plethora of places that are excellent photo shoots for ANY personalities.

I vote for like...end of July? June is pretty booked, and the beginning - mid July I am going to Alberta, so say last weekend in July would be good methinks...(that would be 7/28 )

Any other opinions from you NC-ites out there?

 

May we attend the meetup too? i am not above driving down towards Raleigh as y'all can tell. Anything other than 3rd weekend in July is good for me (we will be at Otakon that weekend).

Probably should make a meetup thread. I don't personally think we'll get great photos inside the Life and Science museum, though, it's too dark D:

 

Argh, this makes me wish I'd been able to escape the artist booth to attend the panel and meet! Ah well, at least I got to see most of you at my table, and I enjoyed doll-sitting for all of you!

I swear, between Gwen and his Awesome-Pirate-Hat-of-Smexiness, and Remi just being Remi, there's a lot of win in NC.

 

I'm glad I got to meet you too! And see your gorgeous Williams. It was pretty fun, even if I didn't feel so hot.
