I was just wondering how easy is it to order straight from Angell Studio and what's the general wait times from them?
I ordered from them in December and got my doll in April, which was shorter than I was expecting. I communicated a lot with them over email because at first I wanted a custom color doll, but eventually decided on tan. The communication was pretty good and everything was done by email, however, I've heard that their communication can now be a little dicey. It seems their main English speaking agent is gone? Probably won't be an issue if you need to make a straightforward order, but it may be harder if you have more requests/questions.
I ordered directly in the end of May and got her at the end of June - but I didn't really communicate with them beyond the ordering.
Just going to bump this a little as I want to find out if anyone has ordered directly from them recently and what your experience as been. And I'm a bit confused about how to order a faceup. I'm interested in ordering Helen Star Elf and if I'm understanding her listing correctly, the page I've linked is for her nude doll without faceup (even though she's under the 'fullset category') and if I want a faceup, I have to add it from the makeup service section? But I don't see a faceup for her being offered there... I guess I could email them to ask, but I wanted to make sure I didn't overlook anything first.
@namika Around the beginning of the year I got my two Phoenix boys Chiyu and Qingyi directly from Angell Studio. However, for certain reasons I ordered them by email and not via the webshop. The AS staff and customer service is great and can only be recommended. If you have any questions about the dolls on offer, you can always contact Angell Studio directly by email. I always got an answer very quickly.
It says the faceup is complimentary if you buy the fullset. But the price doesn't reflect a fullset... Like, there is no option for a Helen fullset. So I'd email to make sure.
In total, I waited about three months for the two AS dolls to be delivered. Fortunately, the whole thing went unexpectedly quickly. And by the way, you can also pay by Layaway at AS.
A bit of a thread necro, but does anybody know if Angell Studio is still operational? I emailed them a question a while back and never received a reply. TIA
I think they still are? It looks like they just had an event in late April to early May this year. Maybe try emailing them again? I remember hearing that they sometimes have trouble receiving emails ... Or you could try going through a dealer. I know Clover Singing and Legend Doll are both dealers for them and they are both quick to respond to emails.
I ordered clothes directly from them once. They communicate pretty well although you may have to verify since I think they use a translating app. Otherwise my item came and was exactly as described. I had gotten the knight outfit for Kelly
