Does anyone know if there's any issues with Angell-Studio? I ordered an outfit from them over a month ago but I haven't heard anything from them. I understand that for dolls it takes longer but this was an outfit which said it was in stock on their website. I emailed them last week and have yet to receive a response. I have ordered from them in the past which was a few years ago and emails were answered very quickly back then. Just want to know if I need to start worrying since it looks like they're ignoring emails and I don't want my order to be forgotten or something like that.
I have had "mail contact" with them this last week, but the answers have been... bad. They have been short and sort of confusing. Example: I asked them about information on the layaway procedure, a question about swapping parts, and some info. on a custom face-up. The reply was "cannot be done" - that is all. Upon sending another mail, I got a second reply with just a link to their body-blushing service. So while there is contact, it is not very good at the moment.
I was actually curious too, I wanted to order from them this month - but now I'm kind of unsure. Any news on what's up?
@cudnaruza I do not think outright ordering something would be an issue. Just the contact. As in, if you have any requests before you order, or questions.
Legend Doll is a dealer for Angell-Studio. Maybe you could contact them and ask if there's a good way to get in contact? (Or if you were thinking of buying something, see if Mint On Card has it in stock--since they're closing, all of their in-stock items are on clearance, and they do have some Angell-Studio dolls and items left right now.)
Okay, I have some news. I still haven't received a response to my email but I found something else. I logged into my account on the website and found an option that allows you to post a message. It says Inbox, Outbox and Write Inbox. I clicked on Write Inbox and typed my message and submitted it. I did this on May 27th. Today I logged into my account and lo and behold, I got a response from them about my order which is not ready yet. Hope that helps.
Oh dear, I wonder if they lost Lemon, who was their main English service rep. Communication was always fantastic back when they had her and a Q&A board. Hopefully they are just in the process of hiring a new rep!
The last time I tried to order from Angell Studio was earlier this year. It took 6 months to get 3 of the clothing items I ordered, the rest had been forgotten about. I believe I put a review in the company review section. It was a giant mess. I'm sad because I love their quality and I want to go back for more items but after my last experience I'm not so sure.
I personally had no problem with the orders, but communication was very bad I waited a week before resending my question in a more simple way and it took too long to get a reply and some questions were ignored I messaged them in the inbox / outbox part of the website. I did not get any reply but I got a notification that item was shipped with a tracking number on the order status so they do read them I would buy from a dealer instead of direct I will say that the quality is very nice and so is the doll sculpt and the clothes
