My new doll is here!!!

I was very very excited for her arrival, and it was a bit of a surprise! The tracking hadn't been up to date. I was having a bad morning, but then I got a notification that she was delivered. I took some time to calm down, and then started unboxing. She made my day a whole lot better

The box was in good condition and well packaged with several layers of plastic, bubble wrap, etc.



The doll's box itself! It has a bit of a holographic shine to it.



The contents -- doll, COA, and a wig that I ordered from Legenddoll.



The doll herself was not as thoroughly wrapped as some others I've gotten, and there wasn't much stopping her from rolling around within the box. There is, however, a cushion with the shape of the doll cut out, which gave me a little giggle when I saw it.



Got her body unwrapped! She's not the most solid stander, I'm a little concerned about her stability. I actually suspect that it has something to do with how narrowly her legs are set together, but I don't actually know anything about doll engineering. I do wish her hips were a bit wider.



Her face! I'm actually not sure whether I'm satisfied with the faceup. When I first saw it I was disappointed. I think I like it more now, especially after the application of different eyes and a wig, but I'm not 100% sure about it.



I played dress-up with her for a while! She definitely struggles to stand with shoes on.





This was my first attempt at one of her character outfits that I made a few years ago (for a different doll body). I'll be working on an updated one for her!



In my head, this character has been called Adelaide since I was 15 or so. But recently I've started considering changing her name, so I don't know what her name is for sure right now. I've also considered Aurelia and Aino. Who knows
